@Pisces: Thanks for the advice ^^ Though with the two lab puppies I have now, I think I can handle anything xD Nah but it's so rewarding, being patient with them. Even though it can be stressful, it's the result that counts <3
Yeah I think everyone should have a pet of some sort. They love you unconditionally and they may not be able to talk back, but they'll always listen. |

XD You definitely have full hands with two, and I admire anyone who can deal with them. Also, children who grow up around animals are less likely to have animal allergies and tend to have stronger immune systems. |

<33 A kitty was my father growing up. Not biologically, of course, but he Kahlil was older than I by a few months and he we got him when I was 1. He's been in my life longer than any other type of adult male figure. So I'm with Rousi, about never having been without. Before Kahlil we had a dog named Moriko who was big enough that I rode on her like a horse until I was 4 and she passed away. She wouldn't ever let people near my stroller on walks, lol |

Today is a little difficult. :/ I keep thinking of Rocky and then this stray dog we picked up called Maggie. She was an old golden retriever, sweet as can be. Our cats loved her, they even slept on her lol And then some man across the road fed her glass :/ Sorry if that's a little much for anyone. And two big dogs killed Rocky. Ugh. Nothing is horrific enough to inflict upon that man. Why would he do something like that? I have a friend whose dog that happened to, all because the neighbour didn't like the breed (or what he thought the breed was because she was a mix and no one could tell). Ass. There's a special place where those people get to suffer before going back into the wheel of reincarnation. And then, I hope they get reincarnated as a bug. |
He told us that she kept pooping in his driveway or something like that. He had dogs so how could he have proof that it was her? I'm usually a very non-violent person but I wanted to do some serious damage to him. Idk...some people just really need help :/

*peeks in for a quick update on my little hussy kitty* Told the landlady about Abby going into heat, even though we had been told she was spayed. She was really shocked, because she's gotten several cats from that shelter and they're usually super strict about making sure a cat that's old enough to be fixed is before letting them go. She said that once I got her checked out, if it turns out she hasn't been spayed (which she agrees is the most likely explanation, since she can't think of anything but going into heat that would cause Abby to act the way she has) she'll take her back to the shelter and have them spay her. Since it's their mistake and she's known there, she'll probably be able to get it done either free, or at least really, really cheap. So, that's one less financial worry. I'm really glad she's offering to help with the cost. <3

I just got back in from playing with my babies. I hate them having to be in the kennel all the time :/ But, I'm thinking when I get my money from school, I'm gonna buy an underground electric fence so they can be out playing when I'm not out there. We're still trying to find Mason another home though, people keep asking about him but never seem to want to tell us if they would like him or not lol Ooh, also! There's a part time job with this guy who manages/owns (I forget which, or if it's both) horses and stuff, and he's looking for people to help out with stuff around the stables. I'm hoping I can get the job!! I love horses <3 |
Whooo! Hope you can get the job too! I think that's one thing I like about Mom getting a different job. She's home when I'm not, so Tempest isn't stuck in his kennel all day waiting for me. |

Awww well that's good <33 We're out in the country, and out here so many poor creatures get run over cause people are too stupid to go the speed limit and probably don't even care that they hit something, argh. So at least I know they're safe out there in the kennel <3 Oh and we're gonna extend it soon, so they have more room, and put another doghouse in it ;o |
