it's...well...complicated. I am making it to look like it laces up on all four sides, but in actuality it will only really lace on the right side. It's going to look like it's a functioning corset, but it'll actually sit over the base one I made for lotte and have nude coloured material where the 'skin' shows. so, I have to get the whole thing fited, cut out the parts that need to be the different materials, set channels to hide the lacing in on the one side(cause she has no visible grommets) and then edge everything with details. And the apron bit is actually part of the top, so there's no waist seam...so, yeah, complicated.

exxxxxxactly. But...it means I have an excuse to use our brand new BIAS TAPE MAKER! it's so pretty and new and OMG!

::looks around:: the what? The bias tape maker? it makes bias tape(and cording, but I don't need cording atm) You cut a bunch of fabric on the bias, sew it together then run it through this and it presses it out so it's all nice and pretty and ready to be used. At least that's the theory, I've not used it yet.
