@Ritsuka:
Oh? Where do you work? And I trust you live some place on the west coast. @Pathosis: xD yes I am finally on season two but got distracted by Jem. Did your work switch your schedule or are you going to school? |
Neither. xD
I don't have a job, and I'm not in school. :p I just had a baby shower to go to Saturday. So I was up at 8 a.m. Then I slept over at that friends house, and we went to bed at midnight. And I woke up at 9:30 a.m. And went to bed at 1 a.m. Sunday night. So my brain is all "go to bed at 12 or 1 a.m." instead of my usual 4 a.m. |
Oh xD. I hate when that happens. But usually I am asleep by 12 and up by 8 other wise I am screwed for work. My job likes to let me open which means being up at the butt of dawn to catch the bus. How was the baby shower?

I live in Oregon. :) I work at a hotel in a little, tiny town called Clatskanie. Very tiny town. Haha. I'm a front desk clerk. ^^ -pets anu- I'm not as tired as I thought I'd be. I'm eating oatmeal. lol Unlimited oatmeal for sure. |
-Noms on Loveheart- I finally caught you <3
@Ritsuka: That sounds like fun though. I mean just sitting around watching the desk, making sure there are no emergencies and what not. |
It was good.
Extremely awkward at first. It was basically 20 or so women, sitting in a circle, silent. Until a few loud people showed up and got everyone talking. xD That and there was Sangria there, so Andrea's mom was a bit drunk and hilarious. Apparently she gets drunk really easily, hahaha. But yeah, we played bingo, "don't say baby" where we wore bracelets and couldn't say "baby" for the whole baby shower or else someone could steal our bracelet if we're caught. And we played a word scramble game, and a guess-how-many-candies-are-in-the-baby-bottle. It was fun. She got a crap load of stuff, but surprisingly no Baby Bullet. Her aunt and cousin came down from the States and gave her 60 bucks in American. xD Which her dad traded her for, and gave her Canadian currency. (/shakes head) It was a long day... |

It's okay at times. Graveyard is very, very quiet, and I don't see many people until it's breakfast time. I like this shift, it's just hard to stay up sometimes. I usually watch Netflix or Hulu. lol I also work the swing (4pm - 12am) shift, it's a bit more busy. I have laundry and a lot of other things I need to do as well. Laundry is a pain in the butt when we are a full house. 40 rooms worth of laundry and lots of guests wanting this or that. XD Stressful sometimes. Haha. Sorry for the book. |
I think I may watch some Netflix. :) I'll be off and on. :) It was nice chatting. I hope to continue this soon. ^^
|
Did you and her get to catch up and is there anyway to see her you know before another year has passed?
Also did some one make her something called a diaper cake? I have never seen one but a lot of my customers make them. Wow >.> I hate doing laundry. I am sure I would muck those towels some how. My biggest worry about having a job like that is getting an emergency in the middle of the night. How busy does your hotel get? Have fun XD go watch Jem and the holograms, its on netflex. |
Mmm...I dunno. We didn't make any plans to see each other again.
Last I saw her was Sunday morning, and she was NOT in the mood to talk. xDD Baby kept kicking her in the ribs all night...she didn't get much sleep. And she really didn't want to go to work and do an 8 hour shift. Hopefully I'll get to see her when the baby arrives. I hope it's not born on November 11th. That'd be a depressing birthday. Lol. YES. They made her a diaper cake, and a diaper wreath. I only got to take a picture of the wreath. D: But the cake was cute! ESPECIALLY the REAL cake. Look at this topper. LOOK AT IT. It's EDIBLE. It's FONDANT. I sat beside her while she opened gifts, so I was on garbage/wrapping paper/tissue paper duty. Didn't get any pictures, really...kinda depressing. |
@.@ my last post did not post and I forgot what I was going to say.

Anu is sad.
|
Why is Anu sad? D:
Poggio; The things I hate folding the most are pillow cases for some reason. We fold them so odd! I'm afraid of an emergency, but luckily, most people that work here live within 5 mins from here. I haven't had a problem yet, and I hope not to run into one. XD We actually get quite a few guests. We only have 15 rooms sold for tonight, but the winter months are soooo slow. Sometimes we get 1 person in. Really sad! Haha. In the Spring and Summer, we get a lot of people that come in. It's in between the coast and Seattle/Portland, which are big cities. Everyone loves to travel to the coast. Lately, we've been getting a lot of people from Europe and Canada. It' very odd for such a litte town, but I love it. People from Europe are so nice. I recently visited there and LOVED every second of it. Haha. I'll have to look that up. :) -goes to netflix- XD |
@.@ What time do you get off work?
Its like 6 for you right? I am all the way on the opposite coast and it is 10 am for me. I feel like you should be in bed? |
Phew, I finally made a quest thread. x____x;;
