At least Discord has an edit function.

KittyBeary 01-08-2021 11:13 PM

Yes, thankful that Discord does indeed have an edit button.
But somehow Twitter doesn't know what an edit button even is......

On the bright side, most people are aware of autocorrect issues and probably understood what you were trying to say.

Kory 01-09-2021 12:58 AM

I edited it as soon as I could,
But it still bugged me that it did that. It ruined a perfect moment of remembering someone who passed away...

It felt like it was extremely disrespectful and even though I didn't typo on purpose, it really upset me that autocorrect changed it like that.

The others on the server understood what I was saying and were kind about it,
But I'm still very upset about the whole thing.

It's a reason why I still prefer typing out stuff on a computer rather than a phone, since my computer doesn't autocorrect what I'm typing.

Kaderin Triste 01-09-2021 01:48 PM

My phone doesn't autocorrect because I turn that option off.

trystan830 01-09-2021 11:24 PM

i prefer typing on a computer because of the keyboard. i like it. i'm rubbish at typing with just my thumbs. XD

KittyBeary 01-09-2021 11:50 PM

Yup, keyboards are just easier like that. XD

trystan830 01-10-2021 12:09 AM

yes.... yes they are :)

Kaderin Triste 01-10-2021 02:01 PM

If only I had that option...
XD

I literally can't either -- my full-time job involves it, so without my computer I wouldn't be able to afford shelter or food.

I kind of feel like my ideal life would be that of an aristocrat. :/
Living according to leisure and pleasantries. Attended to by the maids and domestic workers. Always clean and comfortable. Writing letters the old fashioned way to be sent off to friends and family. And relishing in a bachelorette status without a single intention of being anything other than that. -u-

<:] Imagine: a garden breakfast, reading a letter that just arrived from my dearest brother, and walking along the flowers and fountains with a parasol while I digest and ponder about the play that is being performed at the opera house. Oh, but who would I invite to Don Giovanni? <u< Perhaps father would enjoy such a fantastic theme.~

MonBon 01-12-2021 02:07 AM

Well, I think most people would want to live a life of leisure haha xD

Coda 01-12-2021 04:10 PM

I dunno, I'm a maker. My ideal life would be to be able to pursue my craft without concern about how much money it makes. I would go bonkers if my life was constant socializing.

MonBon 01-12-2021 09:06 PM

That's the point of a life of leisure though - you could pursue your craft full time
