so you speak out loud to yourself? so do i, and make expressions and change my gait too.

yeah, i want to get a 'boy cut' not even a buzzcut but my family thinks that's extreme >.> i'll have to do it when they're not there. there's a lot of girls in college with buzzcuts but i get not being in a place where buzzcuts are common, that's where my family lives, in my case.

i'm gonna get a tattoo, and that's another thing that's common here but not at home. maybe it's not a good idea to do all these things a month before i go home. but hey, nothing wrong with weird anyway. can't judge something as wrong just for being different from what you're used to. i will GET there. :p-nod:

Thanks Espy, I try ^_^

Thanks KittyBeary!

Sorry to hear you have to deal with that Sternum >_> It's just hair, it's not like it can't grow back -_-;

Keep it up though, I really think people should do what feels right to themselves as long as it doesn't impact others.

Yup, I talk to myself. And I've been caught dancing in shops to the music, or about finding a DvD I want to buy.

LOL They're getting more common here now, but I've been wearing them whenever I could get away with it since I was sixteen. I'm in my mid forties now.

I decided not to get the tatt. My skin would probably just shed all the colour anyway.

daikokunyo 04-16-2019 11:16 AM

i dance too to random music, or more like shuffle to the beat!

great! i intend to get away with it too. i'm determined -w-

don't answer if you'd rather not share, but how would your skin shed the colour?

Tam I am 04-16-2019 06:17 PM

The same way it sheds permanent marker and crazy glue. I SHED. I don't have dandruff, but I leave white dust. I also corrode any metal but silver away very quickly if I wear it.

Espy 04-16-2019 10:21 PM

That... is interesting.

*runs in and boops everyone willing to be booped before rushing off to get ready for work*

I agree.
Do you know how it happens, Tam? Like, how your skin does it?

Tam I am 04-17-2019 08:52 PM

**rubs my nose and laughs**

Sternum, I'm guessing it's just the shedding. I've got Keratosis pilaris and some eczema in some places, so maybe I just make a little bit too much skin. Not enough for it to be anything bad, but yeah. I'm not sticky.

daikokunyo 04-18-2019 11:48 AM

i see!
i'm sorry, that was a dumb question >.<

Tam I am 04-18-2019 10:11 PM

No it wasn't! It was a perfectly valid question.

today, Poppen Atelier customized an LOL doll, and it ended up looking really cute

Our avatars are kind of following a similar theme. Cute.

@Tam: Aoife-dolly says "Mom got rid of all the glitter on my face, and says that I deserve a cute faceup because my sculpt has a lot of potential for cuteness. I still don't have a body yet, though."

I had fun today, even though the paint brushes I got at walmart sucked hardcore for painting. I managed to score a set for half-price at Hobby Lobby on my way home, which gave me more than enough brushes in the size range I prefer (3 all the way down to 10/0, though I'll also keep an eye out for 00 and smaller brushes).

I’ve considered getting into BJD, but oh boy is it difficult to find a doll and face-up artist that fits my aesthetic.

Awwww. Yes, Aoife, you do have an adorable face, and lovely hair. That's why you went to your mom instead of the give away table.

I'm glad you were able to find good brushes, Den. The blah ones might come in handy for something someday. Like painting repairs on a wall or something.

Oh, Aoife's not a BJD. She's just a playline doll with eyes that change.
