Do you have your tree up?
been a couple years since we last done that...

Biomecha 12-13-2020 06:43 PM

I don't have indoor decorations but maybe next time. Here's a portion of the outdoor though to give an idea, it's the garage. The front of the house has more lights and jumbo ornaments.

I love lights... so much... but we never put them up because it usually rain season

Biomecha 12-26-2020 11:38 PM

It's been raining every other day here but the lights do okay. I'd like to come up with something more interesting for next year, not as cliche or traditional.

Make your lights say 'singularity is near'
you'd need tons of lights tho

Biomecha 12-27-2020 10:31 PM

It would probably only be confusing. I need to learn how to build things to make something.

mdom 01-08-2021 02:38 AM

I believe in you! Bio the builder

Biomecha 01-13-2021 03:03 PM

I doubt it would go beyond watching how-tos on youtube. The hard part would be getting something hand made to not look hand made.

mdom 01-14-2021 10:47 PM

What matters is having fun while building it!

Biomecha 01-15-2021 12:00 AM

The building part seems more stressful. It's why I can't get into cooking or baking as much as I want to experiment with ingredients and recipes.

mdom 01-16-2021 07:09 PM

aw D:

I don't want to cook or bake bc it takes forever and it vanishes so fast...

Biomecha 01-16-2021 11:29 PM

I think it has to do with too many steps to manage at one time. I have to be able to break things down into easier to manage portions to avoid getting overwhelmed, and food tends to be time sensitive and not as possible to do that.

But in another news, my father lost his job. So that happened. Yay 2021 so far.

mdom 01-18-2021 03:37 PM

oh yeah, sometimes you need to do more than one thing at once and it's too much @_@

Oh nooo D: I'm so sorry, Bio. Hope he bounces back quickly.

Biomecha 01-19-2021 12:39 AM

Yeah, that's how I've finally managed to develop more disciplined habits by breaking everything down into more manageable chunks and spreading it out through the day. And the more tedious things I do some sort of multi-tasking with that makes it more entertaining, to help prevent dread.

Despite being highly qualified, his age tends to be a factor it seems.

there are no words to describe how much I hate capitalism >:(

let biodad work!!

Biomecha 01-21-2021 03:46 PM

Hopefully the work from home situation might make things different. I wonder how much that will change things overall.
