The flower could use some work but the hand is great.

No joke, my flowers are horrible. :D I can't even do those wimpy stick flowers.

also, the thumb seems a little skinny but that may just be me. the junction should slope a little more, rather than a straight v between where the thumb and hand connect

The thumb is on its side so it appears skinny. If you take a peak at your hand when you lay it down the thumb always tilts slightly instead of like the other fingers that lay straight.

Well I think the connection is fine, just that the end is too skinny and the bump below the top is kinda pointless ;'P

@Dragon, Yeah, looking at it now I can see that and I realised it should show 75% percent of the thummb not 5o% as I have it. choco and Scylla pointed that out.

Ah that makes more sense. Drawing the hand in detail can be hard, so don't worry that's still quite good.

@Scylla, I hate them too, they appear as blobs on most of my full body drawings so I decided to draw a hand to get better at it. :)

I've taught myself to draw with my left hand if I need my right for an example

I can't draw with my right hand, though I taught mywelf to write with it. I 'borrowed' someone's left hand for my refernce though so it all worked out rather well.
