@.@ I have not seen that movie and sadly out side of the myths I rarely take the time to look into both those cultures histories. So if you don't mind me asking Path which part of Canada do you live in? |
Lol. I have a plaque type thing of Horus, with a bunch of hieroglyphs around him in my room.
I found it downstairs in the laundry room, which is where people put things that they don't want. Anything down there on the bench is up for grabs. So I snatched it and I was so freaking happy. xD It looks like it's on clay, but I'm not certain what medium it's made on, or where it's from. Spartacus is actually a show. xDD I know there's a movie, but it's not the same thing. Bam! Wallpaper. :p The one in front is Andrew Whitfield. He died of cancer... So I stopped watching the show since they replaced him with a new actor. Just wasn't the same. It's nice to meet you, Hon. :) Unfortunately, I'm gonna have to go pretty soon. In 15 minutes or so. Pog;; Ontario, Canada. :p South-Western, to be more precise. I'm near London and Windsor. |

If I had modeling clay I would totes try to make something awesome like that, lol. And I had no idea, I think I am confusing that with "This is Sparta" or is that the same thing? I really have no idea ;-; That is so unfortunate :c Shows really are never the same if a certain character leaves or passes away, and the fact that it was because of cancer is even more upsetting. Aw, well hopefully you can come talk with Poggi and me if we're all on later xD |

Mhmm! It's detailed, too. Has one or two chips, but nothing too bad.
I've been tempted to try and translate it. xD See if it actually says something. I like to imagine it's actually from Egypt. :p I made a cobra/snake coiled up out of clay; I carved heiroglyphs all along its body, then fired it and painted it gold. Gotta love art classes. I also made these. Didn't get the chance to finish the Ankh. We were suppose to sew those beads onto the Moccasin's we made. I took Native Studies. Fucking LOVED that class. It was the best. Tied in well with my Lenape classes, where I learned a dying Native language. Yeah...it was upsetting. My boyfriend and I both agreed to just stop watching it. Mhmm! I'm hoping you will be. :p I won't be back for another 5 hours or so. |

If you do you should finish it, it would look really nice if it would be able to be completed, I am sure it would look really nice by the Horus plaque.
