I can't see anything past 6 inches from something

Lessee, when I was little(like 18 months old) I got my first set of glasses, my left eye was nearsighted, my right eye was farsighted. By the time I was 12 my right eye was corrected, but my left was getting worse. THEN my right eye started going nearsighted and well, the left kept going. I'm now nearly legally blind in the left eye and the right is a pretty strong prescription too. I also have to wear reading glasses if I'm on the computer or reading for more than 20 minutes at a time. I luff my eyeballs...NOT.

But I, for the sake of cosplay, will wear zero prescription lenses in pretty, pretty colors!

Mine I got my first glasses at 10 cause my mom and grandma would use the TV as a babysitter. I have astigmatism on my right eye cause of the socket size (less than a inch of socket) and my left eyes doesn't, It's genetic, my dad has a minor lazy eye and my mom has to do laser surgery for her eyes (which last about a minute or two for one eye)

I think I started to wear glasses shortly before First Grade.

I wish I'd taken my first glasses from my mom when last we spoke, they're adorable, and so small they wouldn't fit on most dolls(my first year of life I actually wore doll clothes).

I have a few of my old baby clothes that fit my Cabbage Patch Kid. XD

yeeeeeeeah, my cabbage patch kid has a mini suitcase worth of clothes. Most of them were mine at some point LOL

I am not having them, ever. my brother was appraised of my lack of breeding years ago, that's his job if the line must continue.

My brothers both had two kids, so I am off the hook, too.

Okay brilliant ladies, I need ideas for costuming panels to host at local convention this October. I'd like to keep them fairly simple and informative, but I'm at a loss for ideas, you got any? I'd like at least three ideas to present so the coordinator can pick her favourite.

What are the ones you and Knight do here at Wasabi.

We did wig-work at wasabi...but I dunno...the costuming 'culture' at Mile Hi is very...uhm...young's the wrong word...novice? I think a wig panel might be too advanced. Though I might suggest that just to give them a few ranges of levels...

Okay, Wigging Out...other ideas??

How about simple making of curtain items on a cosplay.

I was thinking of doing a hats panel..but not sure it'd fly...though with steampunk so prevalent it might take off...who knows...

You can always try that out. It should work out.

Choosing and making cos-play headgear might be a good panel.

lord only knows I've made enough crowns, hats, veils, tiara's, and other head accessories I can cover most options...just not helmets, not done one of those yet....

It can pass off at Wasabi since it's so small, but NDK is a whole other story in order for it to be considered a panel

no worries, for being one of the oldest cons...er, actually the oldest consecutively running con, it's pretty low attendance. I need to rally people to come this year, if only to help revive their masq.

I also cosplay and attend cons. I'd be going to Fanime next weekend like I've done for the 2 years but I don't have the money this year. Planning for Anime Vegas or Anime LA if I can afford it.
So how're you guys doin?

awwwwwwwww, it woudlda been awesome if you were hitting fanime as it's my first year going. I won't admit how far behind I am, I still have two wigs to fix and a buncha other fiddly things! I'm sad cause I'll probably never make it to AV or ALA. AV happens right before the local con, and ALA happens during my works black out months for vacations.

As of right now I have to see what cons Anime land wants Ed and I run this year other then the one in our home town.

D= that sucks. It' going to be hard for me to get to AV so that's likely not going to happen because it the weekend after classes start up again. It's probably for the best since I don't know what my next cosplay's going to be yet. I gotta fix Taiwan and Hungry and pick a different show to from since it's not as fun cosplaying from Hetalia without my awesome Prussia and Germany.
My local con kind of screw me over by changing the date to 6 month earlier than the one last year so I couldn't go because I was at school already.

I happen to cosplay as Kuro Nihon from that show.

I am randomly doing something so please do not mind me at all.

Well I cosplay as China, Austria, and Belarus (My fave to do are China and Austria since I look like Roderich XD)

I have heard a good many people mention that show, but I do not know much about it.
