I loved Symphonia as well, but whenever I play Abyss I'm all sparkly eyed, going "Oooh!" at the wonderfulness of it all! Lloyd's outfit makes a cameo appearance in Abyss, too!
Ahha cute. C:
I have good memories tied to that game, so it holds a special place in my heart~ |
http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c5...eaves2-1-1.gif really? thats cool i liked Lloyd in the other game xD http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c5...ves2-1-1-1.gif |
I liked Regal and Kratos.
e ue |
Raine was my favorite character from Symphonia. Jade is my favorite from Abyss. I have Jade as a cell phone charm! The man is snarky, intelligent, and awesome. A lot of people don't like him because he makes fun of the other characters a lot, but I have the same dry sense of humor.
SO, Abyss is also a good one and the other is not?
They're both good, but Abyss is better. I highly recommend both of them. Both can be found for PS2 if you look hard enough. Abyss was a limited release in America, so it's usually harder to find.
Alright c: I'll have to look then. ^ ^
I never did get to try any of the Tales games... do you know if they were available through PSN? Maybe when it comes back online someday, I can get them..
You'll be more likely to find Symphonia for GameCube. I have yet to find it for PS2, although it is out there, and switching from console to console within the same series can really mess with your muscle memory xp
I don't know if they're available through the PSN. Don't bother with Legendia, though. That game seriously got on my nerves. There are only three worthwhile characters in the whole game, and it has the worst battle system out of all the Tales games I've played.
Do all of their stories interlock, or are they all different? I don't want to be completely lost if I don't play Legendia but play Symphonia or Abyss..
They're not connected; the Tales series is a lot like the Final Fantasy series in that respect.
Okay thats cool then. I will have to check it out when I can. Either find them or dl from PSN if that comes back.
GameStop usually has them in the online store. Abyss is still about $30, though, since it was a limited release and all. It's worth it for such a beautiful game, though.
On a completely unrelated note... HOLY SHIT! I just found out that I actually played the Devil May Cry games in the proper order!!! |
http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c5...eaves2-1-1.gif back sorry.. had a few things to do http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c5...ves2-1-1-1.gif |
It's fine. I was sitting here listening to some Gosha Dole.
http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c5...eaves2-1-1.gif well looks like im roped into healing a raid now xP http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c5...ves2-1-1-1.gif |
I have to leave now, too. My brother wants his computer back. I'm going to watch anime on Netflix on my PS3!
healing in raids are fun unless your tank is horrible and if you get heal aggro D:<
http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c5...eaves2-1-1.gif nah Kano is one of our tanks :) and the others we take aren't retards. we tend to not run with them and i've only seen very few personally. http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c5...ves2-1-1-1.gif |
I've never been part of a raid... except as part of the receiving end of one. It was not a fun experience.
I can't play WoW for a while, though. I have no money for a game card, and my computer would die if I tried to download the current patch. It really sucks, too, since my Blood Elf Warlock is level 56 now and I'm really close to level 57. |
http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c5...eaves2-1-1.gif raids are half the fun though DX http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c5...ves2-1-1-1.gif |
My guild is (or at least, was) very inactive. I was roped into joining it by a friend of mine anyway. It's full of his friends, and I hardly know anybody.
http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c5...eaves2-1-1.gif aw.. you could always make new friends though D: http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c5...ves2-1-1-1.gif |
I would if I were able to play. I'm looking for a summer job so that I can get a better computer and so that I can go to this one anime convention in October. It's on the other side of the country, so it's going to be bookoo expensive to go.
http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c5...eaves2-1-1.gif yeah id say, ive never been to a Con due to the fact they are never local so .. xD i need to rebuild my computer it's working on it's last leg http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c5...ves2-1-1-1.gif |
*feels like playing Septerra Core* ._. I hate that my laptop can't handle the game anymore ;-;
http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c5...eaves2-1-1.gif DK you'll be proud of me.. XD I finished one lol http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c5...ves2-1-1-1.gif |
I don't play WOW... One of my biggest issues is that I really just like to play by myself or with 2-3 personal friends because I'm not really a people person when it comes to mmos... I like to do my own thing and what not. WoW you need to play with others though to get anywhere so it's not really an ideal game for me. My fiance Calendros plays though, I bought him Cataclysm for xmas and a 6 month subscription.

I never liked the graphics for wow.. that and I prefer to play by myself as well xD Solo grinding and dungeons is awesome xp |
The only MMO I've really stuck with is Ragnarok Online, because I can just play solo when I want, and if Cale and his buds want to play we can all hook up and play together without getting in each others way. I love that I can play anytime I want, and play it my way. I don't have to rely on others to do raids for the gear/levels that I need.
I used to play RuneScape a while back, but then something horrible happened... my mom and dad started playing and decided they really like it. Even worse was that they got better at it than me so quickly! I felt such shame at being bested at a game like that by my parents that I stopped playing.
lol! I think it would be cool if my mom played RO with me. She just learned how to work Facebook though so I don't think any games more advanced than bejewelled are in the near future lol.
I really should have expected something like that to have happened, though. I got my videogaming skills from my mom, and my dad is amazing with electronics.
It just frustrates me to zero end that I started playing about a year before them, and they surpassed me in about two months. Granted, of course, that I share a computer with my brother and they both have their own. I've tried to get my mom to pick up a real game controller, but she always complains that there's too many buttons. I've told her that 17 buttons is nothing once you get the hang of it, but all she does is complain. |
http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c5...eaves2-1-1.gif you can solo in rift :) all classes have a build you can play to be able to kill stuff with easily. http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c5...ves2-1-1-1.gif |
Rift sounded interesting but I has no money lol.
http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c5...eaves2-1-1.gif you could still try the 7-day trial ^^ maybe you could get it at a later date hehe http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c5...ves2-1-1-1.gif |
A friend of mine plays Ragnarok Online and has mentioned it to me the odd time. I've never played any onlinen multiplayer RPG's, mostly for the sake of my grades in university. Is it quest based or more of a run around and do stuff sort of game?
When it comes to RPG's I like the Baldur's Gate games by Black Isle, and especially the Elder Scrolls games, though I've only played Daggerfall and Morrowind in depth. Never got around to finishing either one. Daggerfall had a glitch preventing us from completing the main quest but it was fun to run around anyway, and in Morrowind I can't really be bothered about the quest too much. I hope my laptop can run Skyrim when it comes out. Been having a great time with the Bloodmoon expansion though I've never really played Nords much. My favourites are the beast races. |
