Giant balls just rolling away? xD
Maybe I could ride one to go places.

Biomecha 06-13-2018 05:45 PM

That would be fun. Probably expensive to feed. Not sure what the bigger ones would have eaten.

mdom 06-13-2018 05:51 PM

It could be like the cartoon donkeys that walk when you dangle a carrot in front of them.Google is telling me they eat bugs tho, so they'd eat small animals maybe.

Biomecha 06-13-2018 05:55 PM

Yeah, the one here came back and I saw it digging up a storm earlier looking for bugs.

mdom 06-13-2018 05:59 PM

Then you told the spider 'you have some competition!' and sent it after the armadillo!!!!

Biomecha 06-13-2018 10:50 PM

The ground is basically a blanket of spiders. Thankfully friendly ones... mostly. But the armadillo can have at it.

mdom 06-13-2018 10:58 PM

That's why when people say they love nature I never say me too... nature is full of bugs. I once saw a post saying the world has 250k species of beetles. wtf

Biomecha 06-14-2018 07:32 PM

But beetles are awesome. They come in all sorts of cool colors. The millipedes and centipedes here creep me out. And scorpions.

mdom 06-14-2018 10:10 PM

Are centipedes poisonous?

I've never seen a scorpion. Well, I've also never really ventured into the wild.

Biomecha 06-14-2018 11:34 PM

I think it depends on the type. They're mostly freaky looking.

Another good thing is the hummingbirds. Although they get mean.

mdom 06-14-2018 11:38 PM

All bugs are up close. Once when I was young and learning English I was like 'why are dragonflies named like that...' and I had nightmares.

Hummingbirds get mean??? They fooled me.

Biomecha 06-14-2018 11:45 PM

I like how some look up close. There's even an exhibit coming up of detailed photos that I'll hopefully get to see.

They're super territorial and dive bomb around the feeder. You have to avoid getting stabbed (but not really).

mdom 06-15-2018 12:15 AM

Nice, photo exhibits are always better than seeing up close yourself xD

D: I don't want you getting stabbed by birds.

Biomecha 06-15-2018 11:24 PM

It would be cute little stabbings.

Now the armadillo won't go away and I have to keep chasing it out. I feel like I'm unintentionally completing some sort of Texan
hashtag problem checklist.

mdom 06-16-2018 12:30 AM

something to post in your instagram. hashtagstabbedbyahummingbird

Hm, what else are you missing? Someone stealing your guns?

Biomecha 06-17-2018 01:15 AM

We're probably the only ones without guns. Unless you mean these guns...*pumps biceps*
