Did you know that Granny Smith apples are a sport of the Golden Delicious? And have any of you ever had a Honey Crisp? :D?

*looks at Lawtan* o.0 Did you lock us out? XD

Poe. One of my best friends' RP characters has a pet albino raven named Poe. He says "Nevermore" too, but often follows it with "Thrrpt!"

Edit: I am very amused by my outfit. I think it's the best one I've worn here yet.

Maybe say RP stories, Law? I don't want anyone to think I'm hogging the credit on that. The really good parts of those stories came from my writing partners.

Lawtan 03-14-2014 01:27 AM

Oh, okay....
Lock what out?

Tam I am 03-14-2014 02:32 AM

Sorry for all that chatter. And the lock comment was a joke attempt because your avatar has a closed gate and no person on it.

Lawtan 03-14-2014 02:34 AM

Ahh...roger that.
*gate opens with a creak, the windhowling through the trees, and the ground shakes unstable under your feet*

Enter...

Tam I am 03-14-2014 01:51 PM

XD *waves and comes in*

I've never heard the wind howl through trees. I guess aspen and jack pines aren't shaped right for it. I've heard it make strange sounds when going through gates and stuff, though.

Oh and here's more interesting links. And did you know that they make these cute little spinning things that aren't wheels, called "Mother Hubbards"?

Lawtan 03-14-2014 04:58 PM

I've heard it before...in high-rise Appalachian forest areas

I added the Housing...the bearded lady may have to wait.

Solucet 03-14-2014 05:18 PM

I just want to say that this essay is one of the most interesting things I've ever read regarding pathological narcissism.

And now I'm leaving for a while.

Tam I am 03-14-2014 08:17 PM

My best friend just got evicted, and I'm not even in the same country as her to be able to help. :p-cry:

Really? Cool. :p-smile: I used to dream of seeing those sort of forests once upon a time. I know there is a LOT of talk of the wind screaming or howling in old English novels. And I've heard it droning through cliff dwelling ruins when I was a very little child. ...Those ruins felt like there was something looking at me from them, so that wind sound still bugs me. LOL

Cool. :D That poor lady interests me because I'm slightly (as close as a person can get without a condition) in the style of a female Wookie myself. And I have goblin teeth. Real fangs.

Lawtan 03-14-2014 11:22 PM

Sorry about your friend :-(

Thanks for the Essay, Solucet :-)

Huh. That's interesting, Tam. Any clue as to why? (Not meant to pry)

Tam I am 03-15-2014 03:48 AM

The hair? Or the teeth? Well, in every litter of mutt puppies there's an oddball. I guess that's me. LOL My theory is it's a clash of Scandinavian and Italian heritage. (two of the nearly ten different backgrounds I come from. LOL When I say mutt, I mean it)

Lawtan 03-15-2014 03:50 AM

I was more wondering of the genetics. Never heard of a person with "goblin teeth"...I don't really know how to picture that.

Tam I am 03-15-2014 03:54 AM

The teeth are too big for the jaw, so the front ones are twisted, and the eye teeth are kind of twisted out of line and really pronounced. And sharp, because they've never been used because of how out of place they are.

Lawtan 03-15-2014 05:42 AM

Ahh...
*Hugs Tam I Am*

I'd add a "Historical Figures" section...but I need more figures.

Tam I am 03-15-2014 10:14 PM

Yay, hug! I can probably help you find more figures once my brain's working better. But I just read about someone really interesting yesterday. James Braidwood. Died in the Tooley Street fire of London. Was the guy who modernized firefighting.

Oh, and I just realized you'd asked me about my background. LOL Irish, Cherokee, Apache, Iroquois, Italian, French, Norwegian, Scotch, German, and Austrian. The Irishman gave me my last name, but we have no idea who he was or when he came from Ireland. The Italian was my mom's one grandpa, who married a Metis lady of Iroquois descent. Their daughter married married the son of the German and the Austrian. On my dad's side, all I know of for sure is that the Scotsman married the Cherokee lady, and they were Dad's mom's parents, and that the rest of the mutt mix came from his dad.

Lawtan 03-16-2014 12:24 AM

I added some items, and shrunk the library size somewhat - WE HAVE BOOKSHELVES!!! (Spoiler bars)

Tam I am 03-16-2014 04:50 AM

Nice!

Banbury Cakes. I googled them after reading the name in 'The String of Pearls'.

Edit: Er, dumb question. What shelf's the bookbinding on?
