It's mild, has a little bite but won't burn your mouth.

I like the green and brown one, it's elegant and simple but not plain.

littl3chocobo 03-30-2013 10:51 PM

that one seems to be the overall favorite XD

Poggio 03-30-2013 10:54 PM

That is good, its more my stomach that I worry about.

XD I am not a bad guy I am a thundercat!

Chocobo: It has a sort of, earthy feel to it and green and brown are good complimentary colors.

Poggio: I don't like overly spicy foods, when the spicy overwhelms the flavor I feel it's a waste.

Poggio 03-30-2013 11:09 PM

xD you should tell that to my mom. Shes a smoker and loves spicy foods. I dont think she can really tell when there is too much of something in her food. Do you cook other foods as well?

Red Lion 03-30-2013 11:11 PM

I make decent Goulash and good schnitzel, my specialties are German foods since I learned to cook from my mom. I can cook pretty much anything and I like to experiment with foods.

littl3chocobo 03-31-2013 12:31 AM

you are lucky XD other than cake i kind of fail at food

Red Lion 03-31-2013 12:36 AM

Cake and cookies was kind of where I started, then I followed recipes and then I started playing around with food and the dishes got more and more complex from there, it's something I find relaxing and as much as I love food it's only fitting I learned how to cook. Although my food is typically not for the health conscious, it can be kinda dense and heavy.

littl3chocobo 03-31-2013 12:39 AM

dense and heavy is good XD i use meat dairy and grains a lot which are three of the very worst foods to cook with hahaha, but they taste good and there is so much to do with them<3

Same here, one of my favorite foods is bone marrow dumplings in soup. Those are awful for you, but they're soooo goood. But un-hollowed beef bones are very hard to find here and expensive when I do find them so I don't get to make the dumplings very often.

littl3chocobo 03-31-2013 12:47 AM

you can't buy stewmeat? that comes boned if you get the right kind or do you have to go to a butcher for bones? (that would be cheap if you had butchers)

Red Lion 03-31-2013 12:51 AM

I have to go to the butcher, and mixed meat from the local grocery store is usually ham bones when they have it at all and not big ones at that. I need beef bones and at least three big ones to get enough marrow to make enough decent sized dumplings.

littl3chocobo 03-31-2013 12:54 AM

ah, well does your butcher scrap bones or sell them?

Red Lion 03-31-2013 01:00 AM

Sells them, the price of the bones is about average I guess, but it's the cost of the gas it takes to drive all the way over to the next town to get it that's a pain in the ass. But if you want decent anything you have to leave the little pissant town I live in and actually go out into the next one. The area I live in is pretty rural, small clusters of neighborhoods and then open fields for cattle for a few miles before you hit main street.

littl3chocobo 03-31-2013 01:04 AM

i have lived there XD

have you thought of a freezer? that way you can buy all your meat at once and go a couple months on that?
