Oof. How was retail hell Kad?

Still going through it. 4 more hours of work to go.

Not much, but my favorite part is the jumbo ornaments. It's only a portion of what I put up, there are more lights and ornaments up front. Hopefully it'll at least be something positive for someone.

Well, now that it's officially over, it wasn't too bad. I got to be at the fabric table (cutting fabric for customers), which is way easier than the registers in my opinion. And I think because the Canadian border is still closed off for the most part, it was a lot less busy than it would have been. And I got to go home earlier than scheduled because it quieted down a lot after 5pm.

Also got to deal with a shoplifter who decided to whine to me about how "she was gonna have an anxiety attack because everyone kept treating her like she was gonna steal stuff and that's not why she came in, she just wanted to buy stuff but everyone kept staring at her like she was a shoplifter...etc." Like, honey...we've seen you in here before, loading your giant purse up and walking out. We know you're here to steal, so save the sob story for someone who cares.
Thankfully, after whining to me, she grabbed her partner in crime from the next aisle over and headed out. But also proceeded to try to sell her "everyone's treating me like a shoplifter, but I'm not" sob story to every employee she passed.

i was off yesterday, but today was insane as well, like Black Friday part II! i was going to get something afterwards, but the line wrapped around, and down the store, and along the back wall. i said NOPE! and set it aside for... tomorrow or monday. XD

Thankfully, I only had the museum today. And it was initially busy, but only for maybe an hour. And by busy, I mean that I had 2 groups of people come in and 1 of them bought a few things and signed up for a pottery class.

so... not busy compared to yesterday!

I just went to the Crane Game and you're right :s-sweat: I didn't see any for a while so I was confused.

I still hate when selecting my shoe size to filter the options that it knocks out like 95% of the choices.

The fabric I've been eyeing for (eventually) a dress is on a SUPER good sale price 70% off PLUS I can use my employee discount on it! So I might just get the rest of the bolt (between 5-6 yards)!
