I just got back from a job fair, and we had a group interview. The last thing they asked us was to sell a credit card, not only did I stumble over my words but I cursed under my breath when I missed up. I don't think they want me working in the store.

*hugs* I'm sure it wasn't all that bad. Just remember that there's always going to be someone who's done it worse than you and still gotten the job.

yeah but I just keep thinking to myself, they are probably thinking why do i want this girl, she cusses, she has horrible shoes, and she doesn't even own a car. If I hire her she might cause trouble and drive customers away, best go with that lady yonder that has more experience. u-u

*strokes Poggio's hair* Don't let the experience and car things get to you. As for the shoes, I'm sure they're not that bad. I wear my old Nike sneakers to job interviews because they're comfortable to walk in. and nobody seems to give them a second glance.

As for the cussing... I'd like to meet anyone over the age of ten who has never cussed even once in their lifetime. Why, when my cousin was young, he couldn't pronounce the 'th' sound and used the 'f' sound instead. Boy, he always wanted to drive a big FUCK when he grew up!

I have a pair that are covered in white paint that I like wear because they are comfy, but I read online when going for visual merchandising its good to look your best.

Good to look your best? Poggio...some of the girls were wearing tanks and flipflops to the Tech Museum volunteer orientation last year, ha...

By that I mean done up like your getting married or going out on date. Since they judge you based on appearances even down to your shoes. I'm not a skirts and make up girl, Im a jeans and t-shirt one.

Lol but thats already the orientation, Im sure they wore something nice for the interview.

We never had an interview >.> Definitely gonna wear something legit come college interviews.

*flops over and groans* I just helped install one window AC unit and moved another to a different window at my grandma's house. I still have some tape left to put on tomorrow. I had to stop because it's getting dark outside.
