Dude its like while we clean, a black hole opens up and swallows the stuff we sat down somewhere!

Ginger 09-12-2012 07:49 PM

I KNOW! I can find things easier when my room is a disaster. I swear, I'm like the opposite of what society considers normal haha.

Demonskid 09-12-2012 07:57 PM

I wanted them so badly (this was before I got Sir, my cockatiel), but I didn't have the funds at the time. It takes a lot of patience for training and I have respect for other bird owners who choose to adopt at some point :)

I understand the bonding thing. My bird screams when I leave the room and will not stop for hours unless I sit on the couch in the living room. As long as I am in sight he's a happy bird haha.

We have to move in the next couple of months and I'm not sure if I will be able to keep him, which makes me really sad :( Most rental places don't allow pets and I have no one who will foster him until I can find a place of my own that will allow animals. It's going to be very hard choosing which family to make his new home, but I might have a family in line who would be willing to take him. I'm just worried they will want to keep him because I've become attached. But if he's happy with them I wouldn't want to break their bond.

Quakers are awesome lol but they are expensive here in Australia I paid $600 for Nessie five years ago because she's a blue quaker, Jimmy is a green I paid $150 for him, I hope you find a family for him if you have to I rehomed my cat a few years ago that was sad.

Oh my, is this a crazy bird convo. I have an African grey. Named Gandolf.

Duce 09-13-2012 02:02 AM

My bird is badass and invisible. Sometimes. *Holds up a hand like a hand puppet and makes it make a squawk noise.* Shhh..he's tempermental..*Pets it*
