Why do college textbooks have to be so expensive? My Statistics textbook is going to cost nearly $150 even if I buy it used.

XD Because they had to pay a lot of money to use the pictures in it XD. At least thats how my art history teacher explained it.

look for the credits, a lot of credited people means a lot of fees to be paid if you have 5 proffesors contributing it's less than if fifty do you know?

XD I think she was joking but she said they had to pay a lot to make up and pay rights to alot of the pictures.

she was not, it /does/ cost a hella lot to get imagages of anything historical or scientific
