Unfix: Tell rest of Denmark please?
I mean we had it before, it was just called "All Hallows Eve'", since Halloween started as the evening where you communicate with the dead... and people did that a long time back...
Somehow we just stopped..... no idea why really.......

Signing out, Unfix

Nope, a divider inside of the aquarium, like a sheet of glass.
I wouldn't want a fish tank on the back of my toilet... lol.

Well, I can see why many countries wouldn't see the appeal of the American Halloween - it is just an excuse for kids to get free candy that adults need to buy. XD

All Hallow's Eve actually has a purpose, though, so I don't know why they stopped. o.o;

Delirium 09-21-2010 04:01 PM

A lot of Americans don't celebrate Halloween due to religious observance, or thinking that it's a 'bad' thing. Then there's Day of the Dead which I would love to celebrate, but I'm not part of that culture that celebrates it so I would feel kinda odd...I guess that's how it is living elsewhere while Americans have Halloween

Many people in Sweden actually still uses the day to visit graves of dead relatives. Only recently little kids have started with the dress up thing and disturbing neighbours begging for candy. I's a little stupid to me. We do have the same thing basically around Easter except everyone are witches or bunnies. Why have TWO dress up days? :/ I say leave it in the US. xD lol

Aiko 09-21-2010 04:07 PM
