Moms are a weird thing, they've been through the same but it seems even harder for them to get out of the mindset

Biomecha 03-10-2020 09:51 PM

Yeah, mine had incredibly unhealthy habits...so not exactly leading by example.

mdom 03-11-2020 05:36 PM

yeah...
good thing we're just raising hell, not kids

Biomecha 03-11-2020 10:52 PM

Or dogs. Much more rewarding.

mdom 03-11-2020 11:12 PM

Hey, cats are more rewarding. Dogs lick their bum and then our faces????

Biomecha 03-12-2020 12:04 AM

Supposedly they have more antibacterial properties in their saliva at least. But I don't let mine do that to my face. At least dogs enjoy your company more than cats.

mdom 03-12-2020 11:56 AM

I'm traumatized by my 'nieces'... they're lickers AND biters

Biomecha 03-12-2020 04:22 PM

That most likely has to do with their training, though. Or lack thereof.

mdom 03-12-2020 05:06 PM

Yeah I don't know why my sister gave up on training them u.u

Biomecha 03-12-2020 05:23 PM

Too much effort? Or I think some people get frustrated by not having control.

Simply not rewarding negative behavior can go a long way, which some fail to realize. It seems a lot of people allow the behavior or give treats in an effort to make it stop temporarily, but that only tells the dog that it's okay. My father would do it, and it would undo a lot of my training.

mdom 03-12-2020 05:31 PM

For a split second I thought you were trained with treats by your parents |D
and I was gonna say 'no, they did a good job'

Biomecha 03-15-2020 04:02 PM

Maybe training with treats is what worked?

mdom 03-16-2020 07:05 PM

I still require more treats to work
my trainers haven't found the appropriate amount yet

Biomecha 03-16-2020 11:58 PM

Only the finest for mdom, of course.

mdom 03-17-2020 05:35 PM

Indeed!
maybe that's why I haven't been productive yet
my environment is not helping
where is my butler???

Biomecha 03-17-2020 08:51 PM

Where is your butler? *looks at axe* I'm assuming you're looking for a new one?
