When worldcon was in japan it sounded fun to go. Or even when it was held in Scotland.

actually most cons out of the US have even MORE strict rules than our cons Echo. Heck, many cons you can't wear you costumes outside of a set area, let alone carry certain props or accessories.

And I can honestly say I'd not really care for world con, I've seen videos and heard reports and it doesn't sound worth while enough to make the journey.

I had a nice time when I went to worldcon in Philadelphia and in Boston.

So, don't kill me Nikko, Lotte's skirt will have to eat you another time. I cannot get the undercage to work without collapsing under it's own weight and the laws of physics. I'll grab out one of my other formals for the ball...at least I have a closet of them I guess. And go burn the latest attempt at this stupid dress that hates me....

I don't blame disney, I blame me trying to do it cheap/fast. I know I can do it if I fork over the money for the right materials...but I was hoping to get by on what I had on hand. Oh well, she'll still happen, just probably not until Starfest.

And then I got freaked out at not having something new, so I made a dress that works for Amy from SC...it's pretty! and purple! and furry! Now to accessorize!

yep, got my badge, hotel room, herd of accompaniments and costumes ready for that one. I think I'm taking off the same number of days this year as last, it's just a matter of when and where I'm going. Or I may be taking one more day...Dragoncon is special in how it is....
