I dunno if you know the secret window of invulnerability once you get shot. I tanked using that method, and got so many kills.

It definitely stopped people from shooting me repeatedly, and they moved on.

Okay. When you get shot, your vest shuts down. You can't get shot, and you can't shoot for the time the lights are blinking, but when the lights stop blinking and go back to its original color, you can start shooting immediately, but it still takes a sec to register that the vest is reactivated, giving you a short invulnerability, and if you tank and go near a crowd of people, they'll only get one shot at the most. However, you can get multiple people.
