Once you know Hiragana Katakana is easier to learn.

hahaha Well there are lots of Kanji signs in Japan with Furigana written on them, so I'm not TOO worried, but I'll try to learn some common ones at least.

But I agree, Katakana is pretty easy so far.

I've always wanted to learn Chinese so I can order Chinese food in their language. I always thought that was cool.

But I always wanted to take a loooong vacation to Japan, so learning Japanese would be a must.

Azrael: yes =_= I have never been able to understand German grammar... =_=; Even if my life depended on it...
But at least they are able to understand what I want to say when I speak to German people (I've been on several vacations there) and I guess that's good enough xD

Out of all the languages I've heard, the two I like listening to the most are Japanese and Spanish (minus my native English). Japanese is just so catchy. @w@; *loads up j-pop/j-rock collection*

I has an ex boyfriend that was taking Japanese classes... they seemed so hard. Kanji is beautiful to me though.

I would really like to go back to London someday... and I'd also love to see the rest of GB and all of Ireland :3
Fortunately I already speak English on a fair level (at least I think so?)

Sei 09-20-2010 10:43 AM

I'd love to learn hiragana and katakana... just cause they look so pretty compared to our letters. I'd rather write in them. :'D

EDIT: Aiko, I think so. :3

Mine? Detective Conan, hands down.

It is the only anime that's kept me interested for almost 600 episodes.

Alexander Linden 09-20-2010 10:50 AM

You don't want me to list my favorite anime/manga. Most people haven't really heard of most of them.
