Chinese is apparently 'in' right now. I know a lot of people taking Chinese.

I wanna learn Russian and German for no particular reason other than I want to. XD I'm going to be the Axis Powers of language. Mer.

Taking Japanese to learn how to watch anime with no subs is, IMO, a stupid reason to learn. >3< You need more of a reason than that or you won't get anywhere.

I know but japanese language has sth that I really like..don't like chinese ...if I have to chose which language to learn then I would say japanese

I admire most languages, especially the Asian ones. I tried learning Cantonese once, but it just didn't work out. I have a soft spot in my heart for Japanese because of anime, but I know I could never hope to learn it... and it would be just to watch anime without subs. >.>;;

I know English and Spanish, and that's about it. XD

I already know Hiragana, and a bit of Katakana, but Kanji's gonna be a pain to learn.

XD The sounds are fairly harsh, especially compared to Japanese or something.

Fuck Kanji. I hate Kanji so much, next semesters going to be an ass since I plan to take a kanji course.

Once you know Hiragana Katakana is easier to learn.

I can read Spanish, but I'm not really that great at keeping up with speaking conversation.
