Richard and Whitney take Japanese, and have the class today, actually xD

Alexander Linden 09-20-2010 10:29 AM

All anime fans want to take Japanese >.<
I don't understand why people are so unoriginal.
Learn Korean!

Learn Chinese~~

Alexander Linden 09-20-2010 10:31 AM

Chinese is apparently 'in' right now. I know a lot of people taking Chinese.

Azrael 09-20-2010 10:31 AM

I wanna learn Russian and German for no particular reason other than I want to. XD I'm going to be the Axis Powers of language. Mer.

Taking Japanese to learn how to watch anime with no subs is, IMO, a stupid reason to learn. >3< You need more of a reason than that or you won't get anywhere.

Rose Pearl 09-20-2010 10:32 AM

I know but japanese language has sth that I really like..don't like chinese ...if I have to chose which language to learn then I would say japanese

Alexander Linden 09-20-2010 10:33 AM

I'd like to learn Italian, German, Latin, Chinese, more Japanese, Korean, and French. Maybe a few others.

Aiko 09-20-2010 10:33 AM

I have returned
And I am all soaked.... stupid rain D<

And to the anime fan part: I don't take Japanese, because I want to be a teacher with majors in English and Art :3

Azrael 09-20-2010 10:34 AM

I don't wanna learn Chinese, personally. >3< Ironically I always found it too choppy and rather unappealing in the least to the sound. Not to mention fricken kanji. Or, erm, all their characters. No thank you.

Oddly I still wanna learn German and russian despite how harsh they are.

Sei 09-20-2010 10:35 AM

I admire most languages, especially the Asian ones. I tried learning Cantonese once, but it just didn't work out. I have a soft spot in my heart for Japanese because of anime, but I know I could never hope to learn it... and it would be just to watch anime without subs. >.>;;

I know English and Spanish, and that's about it. XD

Aiko 09-20-2010 10:36 AM

Azrael: The only harsh part about German is the grammar =_=
But maybe I just think that because I live so close to that country and it's said that Danish is rather close to the German language...

I already know Hiragana, and a bit of Katakana, but Kanji's gonna be a pain to learn.

Azrael 09-20-2010 10:37 AM

XD The sounds are fairly harsh, especially compared to Japanese or something.

Fuck Kanji. I hate Kanji so much, next semesters going to be an ass since I plan to take a kanji course.

Once you know Hiragana Katakana is easier to learn.

Alexander Linden 09-20-2010 10:38 AM

I can read Spanish, but I'm not really that great at keeping up with speaking conversation.
