Ugh yeah beef isn't the best for me either. Beans are good protein, if you don't mind the gas xD

Biomecha 09-07-2019 08:15 PM

Soybeans, lentils and chickpeas are fine. They don't seem to have that issue? I looked at the vegan cheeses, but they seemed uninteresting because they were mostly coconut oil and starches.

mdom 09-07-2019 09:26 PM

coconut oil... odd o.O to me coconut is always sweet xD

I wonder if it's only the beans uh that I can't translate because in English beans in general it's all kinds of beans and not just
the beans that go with rice xDD

Biomecha 09-07-2019 10:08 PM

Azuki beans? I think black beans and pinto are more common here.

mdom 09-07-2019 10:21 PM

How are those beans called!! That category of beans that is not like
chicken peas

Biomecha 09-07-2019 10:33 PM

Red bean? Brown? Green? Umm, not sure of a more general term for that specific type that doesn't involve the others.

mdom 09-07-2019 10:36 PM

http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-X3meGAkO5H...ao-carioca.jpg

all the beans that look like this have a name in Portuguese xD

Biomecha 09-07-2019 10:55 PM

Carioca beans? Google wants to say it's a pinto bean, but they look different.

mdom 09-08-2019 12:14 AM

All of those! They are in the same family of beans, that's what i'm trying to say.
Like uhhh lettuce has many varieties? But you know it's a green leaf different from, say, kale.
Beans like those aren't beans like lentils. They're their own family.

Biomecha 09-08-2019 12:41 AM

Yeah, maybe we just don't have a more specific commonly used term other than bean. Legume is also somewhat used often, but that also includes the others.

mdom 09-08-2019 01:12 AM

anyway, what matters is that I finished the third season of Preacher!

I'm starting to hate Jesse. I saw the comics are from the same publisher of Lucifer, they seem to have a problem with male protagonists and daddy issues

Biomecha 09-08-2019 01:25 AM

Same here! I can't tell if it's the character that's bland or the actor emphasizes the blandness.

Ohh, from the previous season did you notice the little things that Cassidy did for Denis were things a parent would do for a kid? Like tie his shoes, bring him candy, I forget what else...play with a ball?

mdom 09-08-2019 01:50 AM

Yeah he's not as charming as Tom Ellis. And by that I mean he's never shirtless. Not even on his instagram. No wonder season 4 is the last!

Yes! I felt so bad he had to kill him. The actor is great.

Biomecha 09-08-2019 03:36 PM

Jesse and Hitler seemed like the only miscasts. The other characters fit pretty well. Especially Herr Starr.

mdom 09-08-2019 07:31 PM

Poor Herr Starr, I wish he had found a decent wig.

Also Saint of Killers now going to find God to ask about the crows is a good storyline. More interesting than Jesse trying to find God for... whatever reason xDD

Biomecha 09-08-2019 10:53 PM

It was also a scene in the comic:

And Saint of Killers has fewer words and still manages to be more interesting.
