"Well better to get it over with... maybe this will help you think before you do." Darc said as he watched Leo.
He glared at Darc. "Now is not the time to turn this into a lesson..." Leo said slightly annoyed. "Ok, ok, the moment she walks down, I'll just tell her I destroyed the plaza... not much to it." He said firmly,
Darc sighed and put his hand on leos shoulder, "Thats what you dont understand everything you do in life is a lesson." He said.
Not moving for a second, Leo reached into his pouch and pulled out a piece of candy. He then threw it Darc's face. "Tell me Darc, what was the lesson in that?" Leo asked giggling.
Ted shook his head as he started up the stairs. "You'll have to go upstairs to sleep in the main room of the second floor anyways. You'll have to catch her up there cause she won't be cooking dinner tonight."
"That you like to be a nuisance but from your attitude that your finally starting to learn." Darc said as he sat down on a couch.
Leo shrugged, trying to ignore Darc's last statement. While sitting there for a moment Leo decided it was time to face his fate. He went upstairs toward the main room.
Charlie was sitting in a large chair towards one corner in an ankle length night gown, a towel draped over her head while she stared at the fireplace and the small flames gently licking at the logs she had in the little hole in the wall. She seemed a bit happier and calmer now that she wa cleaned up and had time to cool off after a long day of work.
Seeing Charlie sitting in the chair next to the fireplace, Leo set beside her on the floor. Not saying anything at first, just staring into the bright fire. Looking deep into it like it would reveal something hidden if he looked close enough. He did this for a few minutes, oblivious of the reason he came up here.
Charlie finally glanced over and noticed that he had sat down next to her. Smiling ever so slightly she leaned against the arm of her chair and poked the side of his head lazily. "So did you get all that blood cleaned off of my floor? Cause you know... It's not healthy to have blood all over the place in a restaurant if you guys wanna eat good food now and then." She teased lightly, clueless to what he might tell her.
Snapping out of his trance, Leo responded. "Oh yeah, I cleaned that up in no time as you might've imagined!" he said bringing on a fake laugh. "Oh, heh heh, I forgot to mention, I accidentally destroyed the plaza with a squabble of mine... funny because, I wasn't expecting so much collateral damage. Heh.. heh heh... funny.. right.. Charlie?" He said, heart pounding out of his chest.
"You did what?" She asked tilting her head and frowning for a moment and sitting up in the chair to look at him properly. "If you mean the fight with Lance that is okay since you guys stopped him from killing more people... Everyone was just glad to see him go back to normal." Sighing as she leaned back in the chair and closed her eyes. "Had me going there, cause for a second I thought you were gonna say it was the eastern plaza where the guard was killed that was your fault."
"Yeah, what you said. Where the guard was killed at." Leo responded quickly. *Cough* "Nice weather we're having, huh?"
She fell silent and just stared at him before standing abruptly. If it hadn't been that she was in a large recliner it probably would have flipped over from the movement. Charlie turned her icy eyes on him for a moment before stalking past him without another word and slammed her bedroom door shut.
Relieved, Leo walked back downstairs and sat back down. "Well! I think that went well." He said relieved it was over.
Darc looked over at him, "Im surprised your in one piece." He said
