And ive tried that(several times), it doesn't work.

This is also the reason why I cant trade. (We've talked about this before)

Okay, my bad. Didn't know.

Obsidian 10-12-2012 01:50 AM

I was in the process of this avatar when I scrolled down to the bottom of the page looking for the minus button to realize that there were not only a scroll within the box but the minus button was at the top.

It was a "wtf..." *blinks as she notices it all* "Omg, kewl! I luvs!! .....Why didn't I notice this WHILE I was workin on this...." >.>

Hmm... Toho! I think it's time to make some JS scrollbars and key them off of some known-problematic UA strings.

.... This is why I will never be a coder.

I understood "Javascript scrollbars...strings."
When it comes to coding, I'm mostly just there for moral support.

What Ulti said ._. my brain just melted i think

"UA string" = user agent string; your web browser tells the site you visit what kind of browser it is. If we can figure out the Kindle's UA string, we can serve up stuff differently for the Kindle than for other browsers.

It's on my List to explore using jQuery magic to do a bunch of these things easily.

Coda 10-12-2012 02:48 PM

I can already tell you that jQuery's Scrollable simply isn't good enough. I already tried and failed with that on another project. Dojo's ScrollableView works but there's no sense in dragging Dojo in.

If it helps I own the kindle fire and soon ill upgrade to the kindle fire HD.

Dawn 10-12-2012 04:33 PM

I also access the site from a kindle from time to time as well. I haven't tried to use the new features on there cause I only pop on for updates or use it when I'm out traveling and can't take the labtop with me. But I find the new scrolling feature alot better, saves me from tearing my hair out when I go to change my avatar. XD

Asami 10-12-2012 05:08 PM

I liked the drop down thing. For both the computer and the kindle x'D

Dawn 10-12-2012 05:24 PM

Haha.. I'm getting a kindle fire cause my mom wants the new one out so hers is going to be mine. XD

But Dawn prefers the scroll cause she's lazy when it comes to her wardrobe..

Asami 10-12-2012 05:57 PM

Im upgrading to the kindle fire HD for Christmas hopefully.
I cam have skype if I do o:

Dawn 10-12-2012 06:16 PM

I only use skype on my computer.. o 0 if I'm logged on here, than good bet I'm on there as well.. only time I go invisible is if I'm watching a show or in a bad mood..

Asami 10-12-2012 06:20 PM

Yeah well I will hopefully always been on skype IF I upgrade

Alpha 10-13-2012 12:02 AM

Um....just as a bit. The Kindle Fire utilizes Amazon's Silk browser. Operates as a split browser with the majority of the computing being done by their cloud network and minimal on the Kindle itself.

Asami 10-13-2012 03:33 PM

O: okay. That makes sense

Scintilla 10-13-2012 04:13 PM

Awesome, Awesome! :'D <3 Thanks guys!

Tohopekaliga 10-15-2012 12:48 AM

Got a little sidetracked but the behind-avatar items now preview properly. :)

Asami 10-25-2012 02:41 PM
