@Ducky: Yeah...XD the usual accent that we always hear in movies?? non-american movies but english-language movies. ^^

i guess it's probably more of an English accent portrayed in harry potter/BBC. And I think it may be harder for outsiders to tell accents apart.

each of Scotland, England, wale sand Ireland has a vast array of accents, and they can be incredibly diverse. But there is certainly a certain kind of accent that is in the media, one that is easily understood by people outside the country. This generally means English XD

Yep, I guess that's it. The irish accent is the hardest for me to understand >A<

I guess it is sort of Scottish, yeah. not really an accent I ever run into though. more the stereotype of a scottish accent.

My mom told me that the "usual" scotting accent is that the "T" in ever word is not pronounced...so it's like
non-scottish = "water"
scottish= "wa-er"

I have never heard a single person pronounce water that way XD

well, as i said there are so many. go 50 miles in some direction and you could run into a different accent. for all i know there may be people who say it like that. All i know is that i certainly put T's in my words o-o
