Unfortunately no. If Trisphee ever does get super busy we could potentially cause server performance issues with to many people posting at once.

As for forum word games I don't know how far we will let them go, to me they are meaningless spam. They don't contribute to anything. I can understand that they kill time but if killing time is such a big deal we will eventually have actual games to play and that should be enough.

Sadrain 08-23-2010 03:59 PM

T^T I tend to open many tabs at the same time, then reply in one, jump to nrxt and then I type up my quick reply and have to wait and wait... and wait. ._.

Yuki 08-23-2010 05:12 PM

Can we have headers rotating so there could be more headers of other NPC's? :B The art of them is already done so pretty the missing piece is the coding...I though it would be cool and you wont get tired of the same one after a while.

Fenris 08-23-2010 05:32 PM

We don't want to put anything under stress right now, so maybe in the future but not for awhile.

Yuki 08-23-2010 05:34 PM

Alright. :B Well if there are more headers people can always have an option of changing it in the control panel manually or something. Except it would rotate...yet.

Sei 08-23-2010 07:20 PM

I don't know if it's even possible with this forum code, but with other forums I've been a part of, when you click the post ID, it just skips down to that specific post (and not a page with ONLY that post). I found that was great in thread organizing for linking to posts and not forcing the user to reload pages (and it kept the posts in context). Is that even possible? o.o

Coda 08-23-2010 09:15 PM

Yeah, it's possible; the link is at the top-right corner of the single-post view ("Thread: name here").

Seems like that's all you have and nothing else for you to do? I have many tabs open and it's not the same thing of trisphee tabs of threads. I have Facebook open, youtube open, DA open, another site open, another website tab open, dolling community tab open, my e-mail inbox open and DragonAdopters forum open. xD I usually have more than that.

Gozed 08-24-2010 10:12 PM

I just had the idea that for user's birthdays or register anniversary that the user gets a random item in a gift box. I'd like to see rarer items for it, but store items would work too.

Gurgh 09-06-2010 09:42 AM

Item Suggestion Thread?

Lucid: 09-06-2010 11:35 AM

The item suggestion thread is over here.

But the other part is teh coding, right now the multiplyer is something im trying to work out a bit better so you get between 10-50 a post.

Oh, by this do you mean that the amount of aurum you get for a post will steadily decrease as you go on? One of the things I really liked about Trisphee and another site I'm on is that the max amount of aurum you get per post doesn't decrease, like it does on some other sites. I've always felt that the decreasing discouraged posting a lot xD I would suggest maybe lowering the cap instead? Ie instead of a gradual decrease from 50-10 or whatever, just cap it at...25? Something like that? *shrug* Just a thought, because I really do like that the cap doesn't go down.

Fenris 09-07-2010 04:45 PM

No I didn't mean that it would decrease I meant that the start would be 10 and the cap would be 50 depending on how much you posted. I already made it hard to get the gold multiplier to 50 from 30 for the moment.

SakuraMinamino 09-07-2010 04:51 PM

Ohhhh, I see! That makes sense : ) Thanks for the explanation <3

Panda 09-12-2010 03:04 PM

I got an idea! :D

How about we take off the equip items off the trading list? It is kinda annoying when you can't even trade it but it show up and be in the way.

Yuki 09-12-2010 05:12 PM

Remove the message that makes people see if you have edited a post? Dx I find it embarrassing.

Yuki 09-12-2010 05:30 PM

Oh, can we also have something that marks items in stores that we already own? xD I have accidentally bought lots of double pair socks.

johnny 09-12-2010 05:46 PM

Yuki, the message that you've edited a post is there for the mods.

If a post is reported, we need to know if the user edited that post in an attempt to avoid punishment.

Guinevere 09-12-2010 05:52 PM

Yeah, I also dislike that users can see when you edited. I know it can be useful for some things like for mods, but I edit A LOT--I'm really indecisive. So it's embarrassing. Maybe make it so only mods can view it? xD;;

Also, a suggestion regarding the layout: I know it's not 100% done yet, but will the text be something that is changed when it's finalized? I personally really dislike this font, it feels cold and default. ^^; I'd suggest something more soft and curved, like Ariel or Century Gothic. More finished and professional. :3 (Alternatively, give users the choice of what font they want to view the forums in?)

I know there's an option when you post to change the font, but I mean the entire font of the site. @3@

Yuki 09-12-2010 07:01 PM

OH, I think you told me before, I totally forgot. lol Only mods can see it?

Lucid: 09-12-2010 07:04 PM

I don't care what font it is as long as it is legible and Sans-serif. text-based emotes look ugly in serif fonts. :U see?

johnny 09-12-2010 07:09 PM

Maybe Coda could make it so only mods could see it. And, if it's a mod-tool, I'd like to be able to view the original message. So I can spyyyyy on you guys. >_>

kidding. I would only view original posts if it's a mod-situation, I promise. :'D

@Guinevere:

I agree about the font. I would personally like to see a sans-serif font: verdana, tahoma, arial, helvetica, etc.. I think they're easier to read in small places like forums.

Guinevere 09-12-2010 07:16 PM

Oh noeeeees. That would be some crazy mod power. o3o But yes, I can understand how it's useful for mods, just not so much for users. xD

True, any Sans-Serif like that would do...anything soft, professional, and legible is good. :3

Lucid; Haha. :U

DarkWolfrin 09-12-2010 07:29 PM

Suggestions for thread very popular. Well it's a suggestions for all of the topics forum thing just that this will be very useful for the popular one.

When you reply to a topic you have what people posts bellow everything.
So I was wondering if that little place could be updated live. When someone is writing something it will show there.
Instead of always refreshing the page.

It will be helpful for the busy people if this can be done and is no problem.

(:

johnny 09-12-2010 11:14 PM

Is there any way at all we'd be able to expand the inbox to hold more than 50 messages?

50 messages go by fast when it's counting sent as well as received and you're having a conversation... It counts any folders you have, too, so you can't just make a new folder to save messages you don't want to delete.

Coda 09-12-2010 11:21 PM

You should have a few minutes after making a post to make edits without it showing up as edited. (If that isn't working, or if the time is too short, I'll look into it.)

We looked at a lot of fonts and Trisphee's style overall calls for a serif font. If you want to use a sans-serif font for your own posts, you're welcome to; there's a list of available fonts in the advanced posting interface.

Logan 09-12-2010 11:22 PM

Yeah but all of us talking about to get rid
of the last edited message below the post
if we set up front shop in market
and whatnot.

Id like to suggest that an extra sorting option be added to the shops. I would love to sort by newest to oldest items. So I can sort everything so I can see what has been added while I was away from trisphee.

Lucid: 09-17-2010 01:48 AM

but there IS a newest-to-oldest sort option! :D

Sadrain 09-17-2010 04:23 AM

There indeed is, and, yes, Coda, that time is kinda too short. XD;
Only time when it comes in handy is in quest threads when you can see when you last updated your own quest thread. x3

Jandi 09-17-2010 12:44 PM

Not sure if this has been suggested.
But perhaps a shortage in the waiting time between posts?
Maybe cut in half to 15 seconds instead of 30?
I always find myself waiting to post in threads.
Especially when my friends and I type extremely fast.
> <
I'm sure there's a lot of pro's and con's to this suggestion.
XD
I'll just leave it at that.

Panda 09-17-2010 12:47 PM

Jandi have a good suggestion. I have to wait all the time for the 30 second time limit and it suck, not really but it kinda slow some conversation down.

SakuraMinamino 09-17-2010 12:59 PM

I can't remember if I've suggested this here or not, but a way to organize our inventories would be lovely. It would make life MUCH easier to be able to organize items in the order they came out, commons in a separate place, etc. It would definitely help me keep track of things, and I just like having an organized inventory instead of having to look everywhere for things. Is this possible? n.n

Coda 09-17-2010 01:17 PM

It's on my to-do list already but now that we're supposed to be "open" I need to get the site finished before I start adding things like that.

Gwendlyne 09-17-2010 01:20 PM

http://i903.photobucket.com/albums/a...rry-topper.png

xD WTH! How did I miss that option. I guess I really do need glasses. x___x

SakuraMinamino 09-17-2010 01:20 PM

Ah, okay! Thanks for the response, Coda n.n And oh, yes, I definitely didn't expect it to be an immediate priority ^^ Glad to hear it is going to be coming though! Now I can be excited for it : )

DarkWolfrin 09-17-2010 08:25 PM

Just something I wanna say with trade and aurums.
Is there a way that when you start a trade even if it's not accepted that it shows the minus in the aurums?

I am not good with math and so I don't want to ask for art when I do not even have the amount because there is for example, two trade on the way, but still not accepted.

I don't know if you understand what I mean.
I am sorry if it was in the list you had made yourself tho :p.

Sadrain 09-17-2010 09:11 PM

I already suggested the less time between posts and Fenris said:

Fenris 09-17-2010 09:14 PM

Sorry Rainy but it will never be. It also happens to encourage spamming etc when we remove the time.

We are trying to work on it but its exceedingly more complicated than you would think it would be.
