Last book I had the time to get through was Blood Ninja, good book. It wasn't the easiest read I've ever had but the detail and story line kept me wanting to know the end. I can't wait for the sequal!

I can't remember the last book I finished I think I was in High school when I finished a book and I think it was The Catcher in the Rye Sofmore year of High School (God 4 or 5 years ago that was)

If it manga then it was a Yaoi Hentai series, Soul Eater, still have yet to finish King of Thorns.

Juneberry 11-21-2010 07:12 PM

The most recent book I finished reading was Chibi Vampire the Novel, volume seven. As the name says, it's basically a light-novel based off of the Chibi Vampire manga. However, it isn't directly related to the manga at all, so you can read it even if you don't keep up with the manga (such as is my case). I rather enjoyed this volume- it had an interesting twist, much more then compared to the other ones in the series~

Kalei 11-27-2010 10:52 PM

GOOD GOD I HAVEN'T READ IF FOREVER! -sobs-
Technically it's been like 3 months if you count electronic books read over the computer. Which is still too long for me. -thinks of that DS 'game' with 100 classic books-

Anyways if you count the book I read online I actually read like 5 of them in 2 weeks. xD Yes I was so addicted I spent every moment of the week I had trying to finish each chapter, each book. And the saga is called; "The Falcon Banner" By Christopher Lydon

Kasolyna 11-30-2010 01:10 PM

Runaway by Meg Cabot. Last book in her 'Airhead' series and she does disappoint. She has this obsessive need to give everyone a happy ending. Not only does the mean girl who was turned plain gets her own style and boyfriend, but the best friend of the main character hooks up with another guy and he says they're in love and it's like wtf? It's so stupid. And, while everyone is hooking up, they defeat the bad adults with the stupid plan to capture people and become eternally young. But everyone ends up happy, even the douches, and it's so stupid. I'm sick and tired of this. She actually used to write decently, but now it's just a mash-up of the same plot again and again. I'm officially off of her from now on.

Devlyn 11-30-2010 01:17 PM

Last book I read was Archer's Goon by Diana Wynne Jones~

Keagerz 12-16-2010 09:24 PM

I just finished reading The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini. It was an amazing, amazing book. It was hard to read though. Not content wise, but emotional wise. There were moments in the book where I wanted to cry, set the book on fire, then throw the ashes against a wall because some things angered/upset me so much. XD But I think it takes a good book to do that to me.

The only thing I didn't like was the overly obvious foreshadowing. Blah. And the ending...the ending wasn't quite as happy as I hoped it would be. It left me feeling kinda empty.

But still, it was a very good book. I'd give it 4.5 stars out of 5 stars. x3

Padfoot 12-16-2010 11:21 PM

johnny 01-15-2011 12:17 PM

Lamb: The Gospel According to Biff, Christ's Childhood Pal by Christopher Moore.

A really great book. Appeals to my love of humor and theology. One of those "Would totally buy it if I found it at the bookstore" books. I finished it in a day, which was probably a mistake because I went from the "This is a really great book!" high to the "I'm finished reading this really great book, what am I supposed to do now?" low, and the crash was quite devastating.

tachiri 01-15-2011 08:16 PM
