Nah, My computer just lags. Its really old.
Im hoping to maybe get a new (cheap) one for my birthday, but I know that wont happen.

My computer is rather awesome, but our internet is far to bad for a server, really.

I have just finished my server. It's a Survival RPG/MMO Style server. There are shops, with NPCs that talk to you (Mobs reward money for kills, which is spent in the shops), Dragon travel between places, Portal Travel to Extra far off areas, an MMO Plugin that allows you to level stats, such as digging, fighting etc. This gives you better overall use of that skill, perks and a special ability for each one.

I may also add hourly quests that you can get from some of the NPCs around the spawn town.

Lets say I didn't know how to do any of that, let alone how a simple server even worked, a week ago. It's actually rather simple, for the most part.

Sky block survival? I did that single player, and it was pretty fun :D

yeah but we are doing it on co-op. it is still fun... most recent thing we did was go to the nether...

i'm assuming there was gravel around then? I don't remember finding any, but you must have to get there.

I play a bit of Minecraft off and on. Just recently tried Creative Mode. I'd like to try multiplayer at some point but I don't know anything about how that works to try it out

On-line is fairly simple. just look around for servers that have the game type that interest you. Examples being generic survival, creative, PVP, RPG etc. Some allow you to join no questions ask, some ask you to apply, other ask you to pay. All you need is the IP address to get in.

I would recommend x4n4Craft as a good one to start out in, it is the server i joined first, and ended up modding and almost admining XD http://x4n4.x10.bz/index.html

I absolutely love Minecraft! ^-^ It's one of my favorite games, for sure.
I'm continuously trying to get better at Pixeling there, given it's not my strong point. But I have built some pretty cool things along the lines of castles and stadiums. I'm not one for Survival though, given my computer lags so much it makes fighting mobs nearly impossible. I just go on peaceful and mine if I'm in the mood. ^-^ I'm currently thinking of building a city of death. If it goes the way I'm envisioning it, it will be my best creation so far c:

Is this a rented or Home hosted server, and where is it based? o-o Wouldn't mind any details you could give as to plugins and such as well.

I own my own server, hosted on my PC, as well as starting up a rented proper 24 hour one right now. Use to Admin another many-hundred users server as well until it became to expensive to run Dx

Creative Mode for the win!
I like not having to worry about monsters and such. Notch should seriously just make an entire mode where monsters DON'T spawn period. Creative mode is awesome, though [Yay for pet Creepers in iron bars?] - provided you want the Minecraft experience, and have a good enough computer to render 'fly' mode.

Because without Fly mode, there's not a lot I could do with the high-up structures I like to build....

On the server there are monsters cause we can switch between both modes though im sure most people will want to be in creative.
