Mew waved at the two contestants as they walked off towards the building then sat down again next to White.
"You sure seem happy don't you?" she asked with a smile as she leaned against the back of the chair. She opened her bag and took out a pair of large sunglasses, sat them on her face over her eyes, and led by White's example of relaxing as the wait for more contestants began. |
"Happy? Of course. I love things like this so much. It's what I live for," White said and nodded her head. She smiled over at Mew as she watched her put on her sunglasses as well. She then sighed softly and looked down at her feet. She sat up long enough to remove her flipflops from her feet and then she laid back down on the chair. She sighed and looked at the radio rather hopefully. |
Lucid stepped out of her cab and handed the driver a wad of cash. When he sped off, she stopped to admire the beginnings of the sunset. It was late in the first day of check-ins, and Lucid knew this would make a fine entrance.
Lucid admired the fine architecture of the hotel as she entered. It was trendy; edgy - but not too over the top. Perfect for her tastes. Lucid approached the front desk and warmly addressed the woman working there. "Hello, my name is Lucid. I believe Miss White has a reservation for me?" |
Yet another contest was making their way to the hotel where she would have to stay. Sitting in the back seat of the yellow taxi, she gazed outside, her bright blue eyes watching everything pass by. Soon enough, the hotel came into view. A soft sigh escaped from her mouth as the taxi came to a stop. She stepped from the car and gazed up at the large hotel.
"Wonderful.." She spoke to air around her before she finally began to make her way inside. Her eyes wandered to look at everything that she could see in that room as she approached the front desk, her boots clicking softly against the floor as she did. "Excuse me," She said at first, simply to get the female's attention, "I believe I have a reservation. I'm Nightmare." She waited to receive her key before thanking her and heading up to her room. |
Looking up again, Shannelle smiled at both of them. They'd both gotten in here at pretty much the same time and it seemed as though they were both one of White's contestants. She simply keyed the names into the computer one after the other and found, very happily, that she was indeed correct. She opened the drawer and pulled out two key cards. She held them out, one to Lucid, and one to Nightmare. "Please enjoy your stay here. Lucid, you will be staying in room 204. It will be on the second floor. Nightmare, yours is 205. Second floor as well. Please remember not to put your key cards next to your cellphone. It may deactivate them.~ Miss White has been out by the pool all day and she's still there. She won't be there for much longer though. So, if you want to go see her then you should do it now," she said with a smile. She then grabbed the radio and informed White of their arrival. |
Lucid smiled and thanked the receptionist, then turned to the woman next to her. "Nightmare, is it? I'm Lucid. Nice to meet you!" Lucid realized that her competition for this contest would be tough indeed. She hurried up to her room and placed her suitcase on the bed. She picked out a cream and teal cocktail dress and put it on, and fixed up her hair which looked atrocious from traveling. If Miss White wouldn't be by the pool much longer, Lucid thought she might as well dress up for the evening.
Lucid arrived at the pool soon after, and noticed a fair-sized group of people congregated around a few of the chairs. Wonderful, I'm not late, thought Lucid as she approached to join the others. |
Spying a new character whom she was sure belonged, but she was not acquainted with yet, White took her sunglasses off of her eyes again and placed them on top of her head. She looked at the person and knew which one of the two she was informed of that it was immediately. She smiled at the woman and waved. "Welcome, Lucid. I hope you find your room to be satisfactory," she said as she stood and held out her hand for a formal greeting. |
"Yes, the room is lovely. Thank you, dear, for the arrangements," remarked Lucid as she shook hands with White. "It's a pleasure to meet you, as well as the other contestants. I'm looking forward to this contest. I hear rumor that your parties are to die for, and I expect nothing but the best from you."

As White got back up to greet another contestant Mew did the same.
She smiled at Lucid and greeted her with a quick hello. "Yes, make yourself at home," she told her. Another one down, many more to go. |
Airu walked back out to the pool area from the hotel. She had gone in to get into her swimming attire, trunks and a tanktop was all that was needed for herself to feel comfortable. It felt like it was time a dip in the pool, it was getting too hot out for her. Heat was never a friend to Airu. Walking over to her chair from earlier and tossed a towel over the back up it. She scanned the pool noticing we had some more guests that had joined up recently. She twisted her hair into a fast ponytail and made her way to greet and introduce herself.

"Hello Mew, it's a pleasure to meet you as well," Lucid said. "How many more are we expecting to arrive?"

Lucid's comment caused White to laugh a little and toss her other hand at her to wash away the comment. "My parties aren't that great, Lucid. People have been lying to you this entire time... Though, if you like dinners then this is the place for you," she said with a hint filled wink. Turning to see Airu coming back out to see, White waved at her friend and then looked back at Lucid. |
"Oh, you're too humble, White." Lucid said with a chuckle. "But I do love dinners. Speaking of which, it is starting to get late. Is it almost time for us to head inside? I'm sure the remainder of the guests will join us tomorrow."

"It is getting about that time... But I really do enjoy being out here by the pool so much. That's why I've been out here pretty much all day. The fresh air does wonders," White informed Lucid with a nod. |
"Indeed it does...but so would a drink!" Lucid laughed.

Wicked returned the smile and nodding to both Miss White and Miss Airu, “Thank you for having me here. The room is lovely, though I am hoping to stay busy enough that I won't be there too often. I am really looking forward to these contests. Being able to compete with so many people who share my interests, this is going to be a blast!”
Grinning now and unable to hide her excitement, Wicked carefully sat on the edge of one of the patio chairs near the pair. Long legs crossed at the ankle, she leaned against the angle of the reclining patio chair with one arm lying over the top edge.. The pose was almost catlike and left her open to see who was coming, going and kept her facing her hosts and judges. The chair was so relaxing that Wicked had no problem spending most of her time there, soaking up the sunshine into the late afternoon. When her competitors came out onto the patio Wicked was sure to give them each a full smile and quick once over. This would be a great chance to meet friends and flex her wings, so to speak. |
"Well, it would probably be in your best interest to be here pretty often... To be able to hear announcements and be able to chat with your competition," White said and then nodded to Wicked. She figured it would be better to stay in good contact with the people she was working with and everything... So, it made sense to her. Wicked probably understood that though... But it was worth it to state once more. |
Lucid turned to the woman sitting on the chair. "Hello, my name is Lucid. Pleasure to meet you."

Wicked nodded as Miss White spoke, everything that she said made sense. Plus they were great tips to keeping a good standing during the show. She turned to face the woman, Lucid, who was speaking to her. "It's wonderful to meet you, my name is Wicked. Are you very excited for the show?" |
Airu smiled back to Wicked and nodded. "I'm sure you'll be able to keep yourself busy enough here. If not.. Guess we'll have to change that then." She laughed slightly. "So.. what are your reason for entering, if I may ask, Wicked."

Wicked laughed with Airu after turning to face her, "I'm sure you'll keep us on our toes. Personally, I've always loved art. The colors, lines, balance, passion... You can find all of those in fashion. Textiles, design and modeling is a way to become a work of art." She chuckled, "For those of us challenged with pencil and paints." "This is what I enjoy... Plus I am a bit competitive and love being great at something I've put my heart into." This was delivered with a sassy wink. "Are you looking forward judging this event, Miss Airu?" |
Airu grabbed her seat and turned it slightly. She sat down on the edge of it and leaned forward enough to rest the mid of her forearms on her knees. She wasn't the most formal person to meet in a gathering like this. She did keep to a somewhat formal standard to look good but she also liked to be herself. Airu nodded to her statement and gave a slight laugh with her last input. "I am." Airu smiled. "Seeing many great looking outfit and designs people are able to come up. It interests me much. Also seeing all these good looking people." She smirked slightly with a laugh.

"Well I'm so glad you have something in your life you're so passionate about in your life," White said with a firm nod. She then laughed lightly when she said something about being the best at it. She pulled the hair tie from her hair for a moment and then put it back, noticing that it was too loose right now. She then turned to Airu for a moment. "And that would be why I asked you to be my co-host, my dear.~" She then smiled brightly. |
Wicked laughed deeply at the last comment, it was too funny and real.
"No one ever says no to a bit of eye candy, that's for sure! I'll be doing my best to keep things sweet and lively." Looking over Airu's head she noticed how dark the sky was starting to get... "I'm sorry, Miss Airu, Miss White but I think I am going to head back to my room. Between my jet lag and the time difference I'm pretty wiped out." Keeping a yawn behind her hand, Wicked stood, smiled and held out her hand to each woman. "It's been great to meet you, I look forward to seeing you tomorrow morning." |
"Be sure not to miss breakfast! If you call the kitchen it can be delivered to your room immediately. I paid for you to have three meals a day as it is. Please be sure to take advantage of it!" White said with a nod. She then glanced at the sky. She would be headed to her room soon as well. |
"Thank you, Miss White. I hope you both have a good night."
Once she said her goodbyes Wicked was quick to return to her room, she helped her self to the mint on her pillow and called the front desk for her wake up call. Once all her cloths were hung up and her nightly rituals done she was quick to bounce onto the bed and tuck in for a good night's sleep. |
Airu nodded and smiled. "Yea. And take care Wicked." Airu waved to her as she got up and left. As Airu stood up she grabbed her towel that she had brought out wanting to take a dip. She had changed her mind and thought she would go get something for dinner and if she felt up to it, she would take a late night dive.
Airu stepped up next to White elbowed at her. "So.. how's a meal sound about now? Anyone can join us if they are interested to." She slipped her hair out of the ponytail she put up. |
"It would seem that pretty much everyone has left now to do their own thing until the first challenge is upon them. I can respect that, but a meal sounds absolutely delectable," White said with a nod. "We should go grab something since I missed lunch and had a small breakfast.~" |
Upon arrival at the resort, Ginger perks up her breasts before walking through the entrance. As she walks through the double doors, she looks around and sees many beautiful contestants conversing. She wonders how she could ever compete with any of them, but she quickly gathers up confidence and struts her stuff when she realizes there are cameras flashing her way. Smiling and waving, she suddenly feels she can do this with ease.
Looking over at the cafeteria, Ginger realizes her stomach is demanding something to eat. She notices two judges grabbing a meal and decides to join them~ |
Airu had headed upstairs to get a change up clothes to look somewhat formal for a dinner. You know.. trunks and a tanktop probably not not be best for that. She grabbed a plate from the small little buffet table off to the side of all the tables. She made her way down it grabbing stuff here and there that seemed and looked rather delicious. Airu glanced around a bit before finding a seat only to stop someone who looked like it was a new participant. "Well hello there, I take it your here for the competition?" Airu smiled.

Grabbing a plate, Ginger glanced at the judge and noticed she was smiling, so she smiled back and replied "Yes I am. I am also starving. This food looks so delicious and the resort looks wonderful. Whoever thought of where the competitors will be staying has really good taste. I'm a sucker for architecture and interior design."
As she eyed the soups and seafood, her stomach growled. She blushed slightly and smiled shyly. "Sorry about that. I've been so busy that I can't remember when I last ate..." |
Lucid sampled a small bit of everything from the table and sat down with White, Airu, and Ginger. "I agree, this resort is beautiful. I couldn't think of a better place to stay," she replied. "Oh, waiter?" Lucid called out to a worker passing by. "Could you bring me a banana daiquiri please?"

Airu nodded and smiled. "I'm glad your enjoying the hotel so far. It is a great place. It's thanks to the head host for reserving this place." Airu stepped away from the buffet after grabbing all she had wanted. "Well have at it then." She made a small nod towards the food. "If you haven't make sure to check in. I'll see you tomorrow." Airu smiled again as she made her way to the table.

Ginger smiled back at Airu, reaching for a roll to go with her Won Ton soup. "No worries. I made sure to check in to the resort on my way here. My luggage should be arriving soon. I had to have it shipped because I could not take it all on the plane with me. I've never been so far away from home. Being new to everything, I'm kind of nervous, but at the same time I am also very excited for the competition to start." Ginger waved to Airu as she walked away. "I'll meet you at the table in just a sec."
Ginger grinned as another contestant joined the conversation. "I agree. I'm thinking about going for a swim after dinner, but I might not have time. I still need to shower and ready myself for tomorrow's challenge." Ginger paused for a moment as she was thinking of what she wanted to drink. "Where are you from? I really like your dress. It brings out the color of your eyes." |
The dinner last night had been great. White had gone back up to her room and grabbed something much more formal than her swimming gear. She'd left her hair up in a pony tail though, figuring it was plenty classy enough just for dinner. She'd then joined Airu downstairs with the contestants. She'd filled her plate with some of the many vegetarian dishes she'd requested and then as she ate, she enjoyed the light dinner conversations. They were intriguing and informative. When everyone was satisfied, White had retired for the night and slept a little longer than she wanted to. She woke at eleven and cleaned herself up before facing the world. She pulled on a simple white skirt with a black top. She was slightly obsessed with long socks, so she pulled on some black socks and the first pair of white shoes she found, which just so happened to be a pair of boots. She then felt prepared to face the day. She stepped out of her room casually and began to head down to the lobby. She'd missed breakfast sine it stops being served at 10, so she would just have to wait until 12 when lunch started. |
Nikko sat up in his bed looked around some looked over to the clock seeing it was close to noonish time and sighed some. "Arg I forgot again." he said to him self then threw the blankets off and headed off into the bathroom to get ready for the day. After he was done with his shower and getting dress he left his room headed down the hall to see what was being served for lunch getting on the elevator going down to the lobby area. Once the doors opened he got off walked to the dining area as he saw the waitress he asked for a seat.

As White made her way into the dining hall, she sighed softly as she looked down at the radio she had clipped to the waistband of her skirt. Some of the guests hadn't even checked in yet. That was some wasted money on her part... But there were to be some empty rooms as it was.. So, it wasn't too bad of a realization on her part. She simply shook her head and then smiled at the waitress as she passed her. The waitress was aware that they had a reserved table with precisely 14 seats on it for all of them... So she wasn't worried about getting her a seat. Grabbing some fresh fruit and a salad along with some yogurt for dipping purposes, White walked to the table and sat at her seat. She doused the salad in oil and vinegar dressing before glancing up to see if anyone were to be joining her for lunch. She grabbed the radio and informed Shanelle to tell people she was in the dining hall if anyone were to come looking for her. |
Nightmare had nearly missed all the events from the previous night. Or, had she missed them all? Probably. Her having decided to take a nap after she arrived would be the cause of it all.
It started after she arrived. A quick talk with Lucid made her realize the competition was going to be fierce, but no matter; she'd simply have to deal with it. She headed up to her room after she had received her key to her room. She headed upstairs and opened the door to Room 2O5, her room. She placed her bags down and sat on the bed with a sigh. Seeing as the attendant had said White wouldn't be there much longer, she would have to wait until dinner to speak with her. ..Sadly that chance never came. Nightmare decided to take a nap until dinner came, but why the time she woke up - it was already the next morning! A groan escaped from her mouth as she stood from her bed. "Wonderful.." She mumbled. "With my luck, I slept for over twelve hours." Sighing, she changed her outfit. Today, she'd wear a pair of blue high-heeled boots, a black skirt, a blue tank top, a black scarf, and several bracelets on her left wrist. Instead of having her hair up today, she decided to keep it down. Her hair was long enough to reach her lower back. Night smiled at herself in the mirror once satisfied then turned, grabbing her purse and slinging it over her shoulder, and exited the room. Being hungry, she made her way down to the dining room for something to eat. |
When she didn't really see anyone coming, White shrugged her shoulders and unfolded her napkin. She placed it firmly into her lap and she grabbed her fork and knife from the napkin beside of her plate. She began the careful cutting and downsizing of all of her lettuce leaves so as to not make a mess when she ate it. She was fairly classy when it came to how she ate, so this was to be expected of her. |
Mew stretched lazily in her bed, the light from the sun trickling in through her window.
The previous night had been exciting, with several of the contestants showing up and introducing themselves. She couldn't wait for them all to arrive so that the first round of the competition could start. After her usual grooming routine she pulled on a pair of black skinny jeans, a loose cream colored top that hung off of one of her shoulders, and a pair of magenta-colored pumps. She then put her hair up in a messy bun and finally added silver hoop earrings in her ears, a few dangely silver necklaces, and silver and black bangles to her arms. She glanced at herself in the floor-length mirror in her bathroom and smiled, pleased with the day's outfit. Mew quickly made her way down to the dining room and fixed herself a quick, simple salad at the salad bar before going to sit near White who was already waiting. "Good morning," she said cheerily to the other judge. |
