It's from a porn movie, two guys start getting at it in the kitchen in front of a girl, who gets outraged and says 'c'mon guys, right now? In front of my salad?'

Correct! Points awarded.

While this isn't the exact answer I was looking for, it is technically correct. You still get points, but the question will remain up for an alternative answer.

puh-leeze, get the spelling right.

Yes, I did indeed bastardize the original bastardization. I'm looking for the description of the picture accompaniment of the original meme, however.

While I am willing to concede this point, you'll have to be more specific with what you mean. Please quote this quote with a further explanation.

Discounting Dyson spheres, or other alien interference, what is the going theory for the dimming of Boyajian's star?

Well, the star is hungry. :[ Right? So what do stars do when they're hungry? They eat what's around, so like, planets and stuff. So you know how, when you eat, and you get full, you feel like sleeping after? Same with stars. x} They get sleepy and dim a bit.
The answer is, it's eatin' stuff around it. :]

In short, sapience means wisdom, whereas as sentience means thinking. There are literally trillions (if not more) of sentient species on the Earth, which would include things like insects, fish, reptiles, and a myriad of other animals species. Humans, however, are the only proven sapient species we know of. Other animals such as dolphins, cats, dogs, an parrot may also be sapient, we aren't certain on that (yet). Sapient essentially refers to qualifying for having an "I , Therefore I Am" brain, self-awareness.

Correct! Points awarded.

It's why they didn't have a problem with vampires and other creatures weak to holy water. Why have bitty vials blessed at a time when you just bless the water all around?
So them vampires and stuff, with Africa being so fully of holy rains, moved to medieval Europe where the holy was in bits and pieces and those relied on accuracy, unlike the rains in Africa

yay kimono gotta earn 'em

Not quite the answer I was looking for, but I'll give you one point for the extremely entertaining effort.

No, you can simply exchange your points for cubes, if you don't like any of the available prizes (or just want more cubes). Good question, though!

mdom 08-15-2019 09:25 PM

Where did the term 'fridged' originate?
From women denouncing deaths of women in comics as plot devices - what sparked that was from Green Lantern - his gf was literally put in a fridge dead

Espy 08-15-2019 09:56 PM

Oh heck I totally missed this one.

How feasible today is in vitro gametogenesis?

It's not feasible in humans and larger mammals yet, but there have been successful experiments on mice.

(also hella ethical problems.)
