I like it. -U-
What if you use all the variations in separate verses of ONE song? OuO Like, it'll be 'wow'! :T Hmm, but maybe credit the AI? Do you have to credit AI? /:T |
Very cool. Tech art is still art. When you say "generated"... What sort of program did you use?

Realized I didn't post the last few pieces of music I wrote! These are all background music for Ludum Dare games (see my Games thread)
* Lily and the Swarm: Intro - Loop * Skyloop: Background music * Overclocked: Level - Puzzle |
Was messing around in No Man's Sky and I built this:

But it was a fun experiment and I'm happy with the result. EDIT: Not sure why the images aren't working... http://greenmaw.com/ByteBeat.png http://greenmaw.com/beatBitten.png |
On the subject of music I've written and forgotten to post about...
http://greenmaw.com/webgames/ld50/lofi.mp3 I put it in my games thread, but I forgot to put it here! |
Those are really fun. I can see a little figure going about and doing rpg related things to all of those.

This is a massive leap in my music. I have never written anything that sounds like this before. I'm kind of at a loss for words. The audio quality is easy to explain. I, finally, for the first time in my life, have a workflow set up that lets me write music in a way that works for me while also being able to use professional instrument plugins. (It involves running a Windows shareware program from the 90s under Wine and connecting through to Pipewire on Linux to an incomplete open-source plugin host that I was able to hack on enough to keep from crashing.) But the rest? I don't know where I learned to write drums like that. I don't think I've ever heard this chord progression before. I've never been able to flesh a piece out to have distinct sections with a dramatic arc and an actual ending (even if the ending is slightly cheap). Listening to it, it's... hard to believe I wrote it. |
