treasurehunts would hurt those who have restricted schedules or locations, i know in the last one i couldn't leave my house unless i walked and it was three hours to get to town where i would have needed to be for some of the shots

The problem with recolors is that Fen doesn't have all the files for some of the old items (as far as she told me in the past..) And some of the other staff have a few here and there.
But also recreating a item in the old items image is certainly a better idea. (As long as they remain recolors, and the older file couldn't be found.)

But there would have to be rules about the recolors, like no items from the current year, or you can only choose between either the ADI's or the DI's to limit the amount of items.
And it would be very cool to have people vote for this during a big event, then release the recolor during a smaller event. (Maybe even as a prize for playing forum games, I've been saying this for years that forum games need better incentives in general...) Selling them for runes is an option too :/ (Maybe it's a better idea to make the old DI items cost runes to buy, and give away recolor ADI's in contests?)

My biggest pet peeve though? I want those swirly wing things at the top of the giant ones to be a seperate pose on keeper. Love the colors and the concept of Lionels.

Invidentia.. it seems too flat, we have similar tails already[?] and the eyes really bug me. The hair is alright, and I like the ear fin things. Thats about it. The one pose on that reminds me of one of the yearlies we have already, the open corset looks like Bone Stitched, just in three different colors, [from a glance] and the giant hand mods are something I'd never use. Unless I was feelin' freakeh. xD;

Well I have to say that I am sorry that the item is deemed such a failure in the eyes of the users. Hopefully the other members of the artist team can come up with something better for the future months that wont be recycled.

the shoes from the slain are a redraw of a pair we already have and the shirt from the lional is fairly close to a commons shirt we have, those are no less than the corset which was a tighter lace by far, has an extra slice up it on the sides which are also laced, has sleeves, is two-toned, and covers the breasts, other than a center lace they are not really the same at all


and remember, you really liked requireo which had lesalia's hair in a different color and ira which reused the silver leg-chains from the abyss angel and of course there is earth spirit which redoes the trailing tendrils up the arm from the everyoung and even uses two of the three colors of it. it is ok to say you do not like an item for a reason but please take note that your trends for favoritism have been the opposite and you specifically chose items that have the same recycling problem. i am not saying your argument is invalid i am just wondering why you chose this particular one and would like to have a better understanding of what you mean by it looking like a yearly we already have and not liking it because of it looking flat

sovereign knight is one, it is a single color but it has the same lack of sole, point toe and gable-line on the top, the other i saw in passing the first time i looked through the guide but i cannot find it this time which is a shame because it looked a lot more like it. it had the same pattern as this one but was not rainbowy if i am correct it had gold trim

Just because a shape is similar to a other item, it does not mean that it is a redraw or a rip off.
plus wouldnt it suck if we only had one tshirt and no variations just because we already used a tshirt shap before?

Not to sound mean but that is what people have been saying the last few pages. This looks like that that looks like a rip of that, what can we do to change this or that. Cho posted a visual example but I can pull up Miz pose from months ago that pointed out the same thing.
