Leto would be sat on the floor with her eyes closed and sat crossed legged a hand resting gently on each of her legs as she meditated this was normal procedure after she had just had some tests done on her or done some training, as she needed to focus her mind and balance herself once more. Her long twilight purple hair resting lightly on her back. A soft sigh escaped her lips before she cringed in slight pain, her left hand going to her right arm as a pain shot up it. The tests had never bothered her before as she had been raised with them, but the tests they had been doing more recently had become more and more aggressive as if they where trying to kill her. After a moment though she returned to her poised position and breathed lightly 'weakness is something I can not afford to show, I will not fail' she thought to herself before relaxing into a meditative state once more.

No sooner than she began to meditate she heard a loud crash and opened her eyes revealing emerald orbs, though obviously startled for a second, she quickly stood and jamp back three seconds before her door came flying towards her landing in the exact spot she had been sitting 'close call' she thought to herself crouching low, she coughed a little as the dust was thick within the room, the scent of burning plastic and paper now filled the air, it was thick and smothering “What is going on?” her voice was calm though showed a hint of worry 'Could they actually believe I failed and are trying to kill me now?' she couldn't afford to think like that, the doctor said that she was by far the one with the highest success rate in her division

Seeing a large figure standing at her door she blinked, it wasn't anyone or anything she recognized and that worried her 'not good, where are the doctors?' though with a little thought she ran towards the figure. It was covered in black cloth that clung to it's form, though a second layer of black cloth was apparent and was more loose. It's white hair was tied back with a piece of black cloth, it's face was half covered in a mask, it's eeiry red eyes only seeming worse with the beings albino skin. Her foot connected with the person's head though only pushed it back a few steps in a daze “What the...” she found herself thinking in disbelief, anything he had hit like that was normally out for the count, but this being hadn't even shown a loss in balance

Believing it the best course of action for the moment she decided to run while she had the chance and deal with this problem at a later date, she heard screams coming from every corridor some she recognised others she didn't. She really felt sorry for them, but then again survival stated it was either her or them and she choose herself. She moved around silently using the shadows and the noise around her as allies 'That guy wasn't alone huh' she thought to herself, but then again this didn't surprise her in the least, as predictors often travelled in groups, but her mind now wandered how her weapons were her stored. It almost looked as if they where looking for something but that didn't concern her living did.

Watching as the guards try to fight off the intruders and watching them die, their blood spraying over her form, her eyes remained calm showing no thought of moving from her position to help them, once again it was either them or her and her survival training stated to do whatever she could to survived and thus stayed where she was. Waiting until nightfall before moving, the faculty was silent and cold, she couldn't help them her stomach turned though she had been trained to expect such things, it was the first time seeing it first hand, they killed without remorse without a second thought and this scared her deeply. She closed her eyes and breathed deeply as she began to feel like she was about to be sick “The fight was futile... if I tried I would be lying on the ground next to them...” she tried to reassure herself the course of action she took was the best “what good would have come of me dying?” she opened her eyes and wandered through the destroyed halls, now cracked and covered in blood in the hopes of finding a survivor.

The more and more she looked, the more and more her heart sank seeing the dead mutilated forms around her. Closing her eyes tears fell from them and fell on the blood stained floor, this was the first time this had happened, slowly she brought her hand to her blood covered face to feel the warm liquid 'why is this happening?' her thoughts where confused. “I should bury them... I think they would allow that” taking the first body she came across, it was mutilated beyond recognition but the name tag was still on his lab jacket “Doctor Otomo Naiki” she whispered placing him on the ground as she looked around for a shovel, finding one near by she walked next to the body and started digging a hole twelve feet down. As she had never seen a grave before it was circular and was made to allow the form to stand up.

Moving out of the hole she lowered the dead man into it and began to place dirt over his mutilated corpse “We come from the earth and we return to it” was all she had to say, tears again falling from her eyes, she didn't understand why it was happening, all she knew was the people who tended to her, looked after her, taught her where all dead, but she still didn't understand why they all died, but it was something she wanted to find out and wanted to make the people who done this to them... to her pay for with the same callous they had done on the doctors

Burying each and every person with in the facility took her three days even at her speed, although during this time she came across her ninjato, kunai and throwing stars, as well as some money, though she had no idea what it was used for she believed that having some of this would come in handy at a later date (All in all she has about 2000 yen) once all was said and done she took one last look at all the graves she had dug before headed out of the facility and towards the nearest town. This was her first time out of the facility and she was scared of it, as she walked into the city her white ninja garb, like the rest of her form covered in blood and dirt. Walking around aimlessly in the hopes to find someone or somewhere to find information... but she looked absolutely lost.

It was a day like any other in the facility for insane criminal offenders. Six am every morning they where woken up and every day Dai was grouchy as fuck to be woken up so early “One day... Just one day, it's all I ask” he said looking to the ceiling almost as if he was speaking to some higher being, he wasn't a person who put much faith in god, but did believe in the powers that be. As usual though his words fell on deaf ears as the guards snickered at the poor insane boy.

“Hay, hay!” he called out moving to his door, his hand hitting it a little showing that he was awake, it was the same commotion he caused every morning since he arrived here “You see, don't pity me...” he tilted his head with a grin “The poor lunatic, the one that is forgotten... I've seen as much as you all, only difference is I accept my fate, my logic, my sanity” he burst out into hysterics as he banged the door once more, showing he was ready to come out and eat like everyone else.

He wore a simple, white cotton mandarin suit, on his left arm stitched in red silk was '200381-A' showing his number. Stepping to his bed he sat down allowing the guards to open the door he grinned brightly, watching as they searched his room for anything dangerous “What's wrong? Anyone would think the doormen don't trust me” he chuckled falling back onto his bed as he did so.

“Dai, you know fine well why we do this” one of the guards growled, Dai leaned up on his elbows and shook his head, his short light brown hair moving with each movement he did. “Your still not mad about me scaring the pretty face you once had are you?” he grinned once more, standing once more allowing one of the guards to punch him in the gut for his comment he had just made. Although he fell to the floor and held his stomach he threw his head backwards and laughed like the lunatic he was.

One of the guards, roughly took his left wrist and pulled him to his feet, they knew better than to wrinkle the boys outfit in anyway, that is what set him off the last time “Move it Dai, or we will lock you in here without for the rest of the day” the man growled at him, Dai's dark emerald eyes narrowed a little at the threat “You wouldn't do that to me again, remember the last time?” he hissed, he remembered the last time and he knew it was doubtful the captain would forget it any-time soon.

Moving with the guards he entered the dinning hall and went to his normal area, away from everyone else and started to work out maths sums “two plus two is” he say his voice seeming somewhat childish as he spoke, he bit his bottom lip and started playing about with his fingers, finally he held up three at the guard “Is that right?” he innocently enquired, sighing the guard shook his head “You need to add one James” he stated, calling the boy by another name, looking at his fingers he brought one up and held it up, just for the guard to give a brief nod as his superior came back with his food.

Looking to the Captain he grinned happily and took the tray “Thankies mister guard person” he say with a sincerely innocent tone as he placed the tray on the table and looked at everything he had to eat and drink, almost wondering what he would like to eat first, his meal trays were designed so that his food didn't touch, if it did he would start up a fuss and they knew it.

Ken'ichi blinked almost in surprise “They don't want to be caught crying... that could stunt their growth as children and as adults...” he stated as he looked to the two “It's going to make them unstable and very unpredictable” he finished watching how Nobuo treated them both, a smile came to his face “You are much like your father young lord” he say his voice was warm as he spoke that statement.

“My little girl is named Toshi, she was raised in an oriental type household. We lived in complete balance with nature and turned none who needed help away” he sighed gently, his hand came up and pointed to a small house out of the way of everything “Her brother Ai loved her so much he delved into dark magic to possess her no matter the cost.” he continued, his eyes closing “The magic took out the two obstacles in his way... myself and his mother, but the backlash also killed him and anyone else in the household.” he continued “The house looked like a murder scene, and the only one left alive was my dear Toshi... who had been protected because of two reasons, the runes in her room where stronger than anywhere else in the house and the fact of her obsessed brother's love” he finished

“She was still very young at the time, only thirteen or fourteen years of age... so she tried to wake myself and my dearly departed wife up, this of course covered her in blood” he began once more “her betrothed paid a visit, as was normal at that time of the month... Seeing all the destruction and her being the only one alive and covered in blood, he though the worst and hung her” tears fell from Ken'ichi's eyes “Because of the magic, she couldn't move on and Ai was given his wish” he continued “When Yuu arrived at the household, he was in very bad condition.. she tended to him, and he protected her... Then Yuu's half brother came and started picking on him, so they decided to leave, but before they did, she gave you my family's weapon, the one you think is creepy and wanted to sell as it had twenty five spirits within it, that are all sworn to protect you.” he continued, wanting to give him as full background of what had happened up till now.

“You ended up a near by town, and came across Yuu's biological mother's tormented spirit and the spirit of another, who he is I do not know... All I know is he wasn't dead mearly projecting his spirit” he stated “Through joint efforts, Priestess Lunia was able to find peace and the man's projection was broken...” he said but sighed a little, his eyes going to the children as they shifted a little. “Though he seemed interested in Toshi as her Tengu form is completely white, this includes, hair, mask and clothing” he finished for a moment allowing all he said to be taken in before he began once more.

“Going to her Tengu form caused her a great strain and made her extremely tired as it was only the second time in her life she had ever been in the form, but she still kept her kind heart even in that form that surprised even myself” he was calm as he continued speaking “A few days after Ai and Kaito came to the same inn they where staying at as Toshi wasn't well enough to continue travelling. During this time you began to steal trinkets and such for her as gifts, the small purple jade cherry blossom Fumiko has is one of the trinkets Yuu got for Toshi during that time. In a panic Toshi moved youboth to Midosi Forest where you met her guardian Ira, but you where both tricked by Kaito and Ai into leaving and thus ended back at the household” he continued hoping this was going to answer all the questions all in one go.

“During this time they planed on breaking you both down, by punishing you both for any little matter, but Toshi made a compromise that allowed Yuu to live like another Tengu, but it placed herself in a state of humiliation. Yuu the one whom loved her and whom she loved had to treat her as a tainted, to add further insult to injury Toshi also had to eat from the floor as an animal.” his hands clenched to the point that they drew blood, if it wasn't love and devotion that drove his daughter to such extremes he would like to have known what did.

“After a few months, Rie and Arata were sent to get you both, which they did using Toshi as the bait to lure you out... for their size they made short work of you both.” he stated closing his eyes, a sigh quickly following “It was at this time Yuu met your father, he seen how much pain your father was in and it also hurt him... Yuu even came in and tried to interrupt my training and almost got himself killed” he stated with a slight chuckle, he knew the boy's heart was in the right place “I made sure no harm came and your father made sure that punishment followed later in the day” he stated looking up to him once more.

“Toshi hated the Tengu race so much she was willing to deny part of herself and as I stated earlier bound her Tengu form and magic, but even with the binding in place, she still managed to tap into the magic.” he said his voice showed he was surprised that she managed to accomplish such a feat “But this is how you ended up being yourself and she ended up being Fumiko” he finally finished with the history lesson.

Ken'ichi chuckled a little “They don't know that it was you who destroyed the villages, they believe it was an evil spirit that came to purge the unworthy and weak” he stated, as he gently brushed Arata's cheek with a father-like smile in his eyes “Even if they did know, I doubt they would care. After all only the strong survive, this is the Tengu way” his voice showed that this was just a matter of fact, as he closed his eyes once more “And as far as I know the only tribe that care about the other races is this one as it believes all life is sacred” he say gently moving his hand to a side pouch and brought out a bag containing some food and held it out to Nobuo his head lowering.

“In her defence, the only reason she threw a scroll at you was because you where going to sell her family's ancestral weapon” his voice was quiet as he spoke on the subject, as he knew better than to speak out of term with his superiors no matter what age they were. “She is a sweet and quiet girl, just eager to please... This is why she offered to teach you in what little time she has to herself” he finished, this time though he remained silent allowing everything to sink in.
