*chuckles* Highschool Dilemmas~

I remember the days~

Ducky 05-13-2012 02:13 PM

I use to get so worked up over high school drama.. now I'm un-employed and running out of money to pay for my flat and feed myself 8D

Lauv Keiko 05-13-2012 02:41 PM

I wish I lived alone >A<
my parents don't want me living outside of the nest...

Ducky 05-13-2012 02:42 PM

My parents miss me now I'm gone, but I think they're happy to have the place to themselves as well.

Funkduder 05-13-2012 02:52 PM

Good job
Recession affects everyone. > <

Lauv Keiko 05-13-2012 03:08 PM

@Ducky: I think it's the cultural thingy.. I mean, I'm asian...and my parents would still have me stay in my place until I get married.
I mean, I have a job and a stable pay...so I dunno...

Ducky 05-13-2012 03:16 PM

Here's it's very normal for kids to leave home between 16 and 18, no matter what sort of financial situation they're in.

Lauv Keiko 05-13-2012 03:36 PM

>A< yeah, it is the culture influencing decisions. Asians are so closely knit and even though some married couples have left home, they stay in a place a mile or a kilometer away from where they grew up. Kinda weird.
My mom's original place is just a kilometer away from our home. O_O

Ducky 05-13-2012 03:38 PM

I'm 6 hours drive away from my parents, and they're 12 hours drive from thier parents >_< quite a few other family members have left UK completely.

Funkduder 05-13-2012 04:05 PM

And I live two hours away from my grandparents. Asian + White = a little of each. XD

Lauv Keiko 05-13-2012 04:26 PM

@Ducky: An English Gentleman!

Oh, ahaha. I can actually just walk up to my aunt's and uncle's

Ducky 05-13-2012 04:44 PM

Scottish, thank you very much :P

Funkduder 05-13-2012 04:51 PM

I have to ask, ducky, becuase I've been conditioned to this stereotype: do you eat oatmeal and raspberries?
