I can imagine. I was a summer camp counselor for a while. Thankfully dealt with slightly older children than the tiny shit machines, but I was aware of how they worked. XD

It doesn't really bother me that much when they're children. They really can't help it, usually.
It's the bull adults like to toss at me. I generally just smile vacantly at them until they leave me alone. From the kids: "Mister Custy, I had a accident!!" :'((( ^----This is fine; they came and told me, which was exactly what I like them to do, instead of leaving it for me to find. From the adults: v----THIS IS NOT FINE "You didn't clean my room last night!" "It's not my job to clean your room. I just clean the bathrooms and the public areas, and empty the trash." "But you're the custodian!!" "And the lady who writes my paycheck and yours says that, barring actual bodily fluids, keeping your room clean is your job. I can provide cleaning supplies, if you need them." "Do you know how much I have to do already?? When am I supposed to find time for that!!!" " |
