o.o I actually wonder how moon cake actually tastes as I've never had it I think. :D It's a lunar festival treat, unless I'm wrong. :c Not Asian tho, so, I can't really confirm celebrating the lunar new year.
I wonder how similar it is to the moon pies I see selling in stores
i vaguely want a moon pie.
:] I like Pumpkin Pie. <3 Pumpkin Pie is nice.
are the moon pies tastey
Oh goodness me, there are still Moon Pies in existence? Hasn't Hostess become somewhat of a larger name in marketing their sugary goods by now?
I went looking for moon shrimp, apparentlythey're meant to be biolumiescent, so they'd fill a number of roles at this tea party, particularly as moonshrimp cakes. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moon_shrimp_cake

I didn't get a chance to look for mooncakes in time to try, I wonder if there's still a chance to find some after the festival?

http://www.ricenflour.com/wp-content...er-770x440.jpg Okay moon pies and moon cakes are different |
I've had a small moon cake once in an asian food store. Filled with bean paste and some type of seeds or crushed nuts. It was sweet and slightly salty at the same time.

they both look delicious.

Oh yeah Moon Cakes are magical. Soft texture in the middle but not nearly as sweet as moon pies lmao I think it's made with bean paste and other things to make it sweet and flavorful. I didn't think bean paste would taste so good. I was happily wrong. |
