Oh, Shojo Beat is no longer around? I only got Shonen Jump delivered to my house but that's probably stopped cause I never requested it to be sent to my new address.. {and my grandfather wouldn't be happy no doubt if it was sent here}

Shoujo manga usually have such open endings. It makes the story feel incomplete. For example, I read Hot Gimmick all the way to the end. When I got there, the last line sounded like the beginning of a new series or something and I was all "..... Wait, that's it?! Where's the rest of the story?! We still have a couple loose ends to tie up here!"

All the ones I read are by Kaori Yuuki who wrote Angel Sanctuary and many others that I read of hers. She was one of my fave.

Yes, well, she's a completely different matter altogether. She wrote Godchild, so she's awesome by default.

I will follow her till the ends of the earth she also the one who wrote Boy's Next door which is another nice one and Cain Saga, Fairy Cube and her latest one that I can't find all of the books to but I have most of it.

I don't think I have read her..

Would Ceres or Fushigi Yuugi be Shojo mangas? I know the author had one in Shojo Beat, something about a girl buying a robot boyfriend.. o ..o

Reyoki 07-03-2012 05:19 PM

Yep, both of those as well as Absolute Boyfriend (the other manga you're thinking of) are all under the shoujo category.

NikkoGallarado 07-03-2012 05:48 PM

You should read works from her she really nice writer.

Yes, that was the manga I remember.

I'll have to see if I can find some. The only Manga I saw today was like Bleach and One Piece.. and I am not interested in those.

Reyoki 07-03-2012 06:02 PM

I may have to read Absolute Boyfriend again. I got about 4 volumes in before I stopped making regular visits to the public library.

I watch the anime on Adult Swim every Saturday. That's enough for me.

Dawn 07-03-2012 06:10 PM

I miss Adult Swim.. I need to see if I can get it online.

I never understood Bleach.. :/ I know people who love it but I just.. never got interested.

NikkoGallarado 07-03-2012 06:15 PM

I am the manry-est of men!

Reyoki 07-03-2012 06:24 PM

I watch it on Netflix, too, Nikko. Although, now I'm up to the point where they've run out of Instant Watch episodes and I had to put the discs on my DVD queue.
