Yeah, she looks like a stronger but harder to use version of Gadius. She'd combo well with Kiriko Another though. (Then again, Gadius combos well with Kiriko too. :P )

EDIT: Actually, Alma & Kapibara-san would work reasonably well, too, looking at the collabs up right now.

Maybe I should try a Gadius team. I have enough Fire-element healers now.

I'd love to get Xiang Mei, but 1) I'm a non-IAP hoarder, 2) I have rolled 0 Uriels and 1 Gadius total, and that Gadius was from this past PCGF, and 3) Xiang Mei's team is 3x Xiang Mei/Gadius/Uriel

jk but yeah

Demonskid 06-10-2016 08:19 AM

I kinda want a Xiang Mei.. ono

Coda 06-10-2016 12:32 PM

You have Awoken Amaterasu. I like her better. XD Less spike damage, but better unconditional damage, and since you have auto-heal and don't need the heal orbs for offensive purposes you can use heartbreakers.

Yokuutsu 06-10-2016 01:00 PM

My best dragon right now, don't know the name, is one of those rarer than rare enhance material ones. It's sad that he does the most damage XD

But I like him :D

If you're talking about a Snow Globe Dragon, those actually are good monsters for quite a while into the midgame. They make good tank leaders if you don't have Fruit Dragons (non-IAP) or Archangels (IAP). They're totally worth using on your team instead of feeding to another monster.

Samba Ruby Dragon is also a fairly rare enhance material and it has the notable distinction of having the highest base RCV of any Fire-element monster except for Xiang Mei. With +eggs and Latent Awakenings, plenty of other monsters can surpass Samba Ruby Dragon (Echidna is the next in line for non-IAP) but given that early-to-mid-game non-IAP Fire teams tend to have problems coming up with RCV it makes a very useful stat stick, especially since it doesn't have to be leveled up.

Some other other enhance/evo materials are decent as well, especially considering their team costs.

Extreme King Metal Dragon for example has 2000 HP, 600 ATK, and 200 RCV (for something you don't have to level up, that's pretty solid) and an active skill that provides 2xATK to God-types for a round. Only 1 team cost!

Manekimewdra is also only 1 team cost and has 3880 HP; even a lot of high-end monsters can't provide that much HP. (Of course it has 1 ATK and 1 RCV, so it's only useful if you're desperate for HP and don't have the team cost.)

The Super King Dragons have a team cost of 1, not-completely-worthless stats, and pack useful active skills. They're good for team fillers when you're low on team cost. Dub-Mythlit fits this niche too.

Keeper of Rainbow and, if you're lucky enough to land one from the pal egg machine, Keeper of Gold are reasonably solid monsters in their own rights. They have team cost to match though (25 and 30, respectively) and their active skills get changed on a regular basis.

Japan has a couple monsters that have leader skills that provide bonuses to Enhance Material monsters. It's super silly. :P

My team is...-goes to game- Tyrannos, Chrono Turtle, Emerald Carbuncle, Extreme King Metal Dragon, and Basilisk

Coda 06-10-2016 03:27 PM

Given that team I'd consider swapping Basilisk to be your leader. That way you have both Basilisk and EKMD benefiting from the bonus. You'll be able to pick up a Purple/Amethyst Carbuncle and a Black Fighter/Knight soon enough, and then you'll have a reasonable early-game Dark team.

That said: How many hours / how much money have you sunk into the game so far? Chrono Turtle is one of the least desirable possible starting rolls >.> It's almost as bad as MY starting roll (Ice Golem). You might consider restarting the game and trying for something better.

Yokuutsu 06-10-2016 05:09 PM

Idk how many hours...but no money. I don't put into games like this...and I'm okay with a crappy water one....he's not much worse than my emerald carbuncle...and I really like his ability. That's the main reason I keep him, truth be told.

And now I'm losing constantly XD

Demonskid 06-12-2016 06:27 AM

>-> I put monies in... I'm bad >w>,

Yokuutsu 06-12-2016 12:35 PM
