Nobody was seriously hurt, and I wasn't the one at fault, but still... this was my first accident. It's kinda scary.

Nope. I think the only reason for that was that the policeman who first showed up at the scene had been in an unmarked car in traffic with us where the accident occurred. He saw the whole thing. The person driving the other vehicle got two tickets, and I didn't get any. The whole ordeal started when the homemade chair lift he'd had on the back of his truck fell off. Then he'd stopped in the middle lane of a busy highway.

well you shouldnt have to worry about it bc you didnt cause it. and the police officer gave you no ticket so your not at fault. its how my accident was... and i got 26k for my old car... but i have to wait 3 years to buy a new one
