Library... books... Last book I finished was one talking about the situation with those terrorists in Iraq and around the world.

trystan830 09-11-2015 10:46 PM

it's in my signature.... but i'm currently reading "Exile" from the Star Wars Legacy of the Force series

I have my own library, here in my apartment. I'm starting to run out of room for books, and I don't get to lend books very often, but the books are good company. I'm kind of afraid of public libraries since my building had that bad time with bedbugs. The bugs like paper, and I am afraid they'll be hiding in the public library books.

Many headed dragon... I just read about the Snaptrapper.

(Lawtan is somewhere between the Hydra and a Sea Dragon)

trystan830 09-12-2015 07:21 PM

i have a bookshelf in my office... i've learned that i only buy certain series - Vampire Diaries, the Dune books, the Supernatural books (based on the tv show), A Song of Ice and Fire series (when's book 6 out?!?!), and the Wm Shakespeare's Star Wars books. =)

*gets Lawtan hats for all Lawtan's heads*

LOL For some reason I can't read series books. After about number three I usually wander off. Sometimes with vicious thoughts of indifference as to the main character's fate. I'm still surprised that I managed to read all of 'Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind' and 'Elijah Creek and the Armour of God' without losing interest. And I own them, and I've reread them. o.0 Oh yeah. I guess 'Lord of the Rings' is kinda a series too, especially when it's in the number of books that the author intended for it. Read that a few times, too.

trystan830 09-12-2015 07:55 PM

yaay Lord of the Rings! that's one of the three series i plan on rereading after i get through all the Star Wars books i still have.

(the other two are Harry Potter, and Piers Anthony's Incarnations of Immortality)

It took me YEARS to find an edition of LoTR that I could even read. The all in one books had print too small, the three set paperbacks weren't much better. The big hardcover boxed and illustrated three set that I bought was nice to read, but hurt my wimp wrists and the pretty glossy paper wasn't very good for making notes on. I finally found a boxed set of six paperbacks, and it's perfect. Right size to hold, good print. And I can scribble in the margins all I want without it smearing.

Yeeeeah. I'm one of those evil people that write on my books that aren't colouring or activity books.
