It's not SUPPOSED to do that. :P I... would blame your controller. Try disconnecting it. We built it using a keyboard and while I technically have a dead zone implemented for a joystick I didn't have an opportunity to test it before release.

Tohopekaliga 04-26-2017 02:51 PM

Yeah, I thought it might be that, so I unplugged it then fired up the game again. No dice. Ah well.

Coda 04-26-2017 04:58 PM

That's quite puzzling. I mean, it sounds like something is reporting a value of 0 (on a scale of 0..1) on an axis somewhere, because nothing in my code should be seeing that.

When I have some time to debug, I'd appreciate your help in tracking it down.

Fulkth 04-26-2017 11:28 PM

It's getting late. I wish I could stay and chat longer, but I should get to bed if I want to get to work before 9am.

Espy 04-27-2017 12:53 PM

Huh, that was an interesting game. ...I'm not as good at it as I was hoping.

Fulkth 04-27-2017 10:02 PM

lol, my avi looks like a hot mess. I'm gonna have to make a new avi once I have some time.

Potironette 04-27-2017 10:36 PM

I'm finally getting an art tablet after having borrowed my sister's for a while. It's really fun drawing random stuff with it (my sister's..but the last nib is gone so I can't borrow it anymore xD). Weird because I normally never draw.

daikokunyo 04-28-2017 12:42 AM

Oooh wow! I have an art tablet but I haven't been able to do anything with it. I try, but the fact that I have to draw on the tab and watch it appear on the computer screen and not on the tab totally throws my hand-eye coordination off x.x

dragoness129 04-28-2017 10:31 AM

I've never had a drawing tablet myself. I've tried drawing on the phone screen before, but it was too hard because it was so tiny and my fingers being kinda fat.
I normally just draw stuff by hand.

SparX 04-28-2017 10:57 AM

I am still transitioning from by hand on paper to digital with my wacom XD
Sometimes it gets really frustrating for me XD

dragoness129 04-28-2017 11:08 AM

I can see it being really frustrating. -hugs-

SparX 04-28-2017 11:19 AM

-hugs weary of claws- XD
For me it's a pressure thing. I like to have my hand on the surface, and depending on WHICH tablet you bought depends on whether or not it registers the pressure of your hand too D: Or sometimes I won't realize it was plugged in and a cat lays on it while I'm at work and when I get home I have to restart everything because the sensors are off or something T.T
aka buying cheap tablets gives you even more problems XD

dragoness129 04-28-2017 11:36 AM

My hand does drag across things very easily myself. I would have a really hard time with it I would imagine.

Tohopekaliga 04-28-2017 12:02 PM

My drawing tablet is pen only, so I can rub the thing with my hand all I want and it won't mess with the lines I put on it.

I imagine the pen and touch tablets can be set to not accept touch input while you're drawing, but I don't know.

dragoness129 04-28-2017 12:05 PM

Ooooh, that sounds really helpful!

Potironette 04-28-2017 05:29 PM

My sister's wacom tablet only registers the pen too.
I remember when I first tried using it (years ago!) and utterly failed at moving the cursor x'D. I have no clue what happened though.
It might have something to do with the fact that during some year I changed my mouse speed to something particularly fast. I remember making it smooth for OSU too and never changed it back.

Glitch 04-28-2017 05:55 PM

i've had the same drawing tablet since 2007

wacom bamboo fun tablet : D i think it is best tablet.

I have two.

Lawtan 04-28-2017 07:51 PM

...I haven't used my Wacom as much as I should...it's from 2012 I think...

dragoness129 04-28-2017 08:43 PM

I'm too poor for stuff. All my money goes towards bills.

trystan830 04-28-2017 08:51 PM

same for me, too, dragoness. *sigh*

dragoness129 04-28-2017 08:55 PM

-Comforts with lots of hugs!-

trystan830 04-28-2017 09:19 PM

aw, thanks dragoness! *hugs you too*

Lawtan 04-28-2017 09:29 PM

*hugs trystan and Dragoness*

trystan830 04-28-2017 09:34 PM

*hugs Law back*

hey! it's a hug-fest! =)

Coda 04-28-2017 11:04 PM

Cintiq tablets are awesome. >.>;

That said, I've had the same problem with trying to find a nice portable graphics tablet that doesn't weigh 20 pounds that can actually do a good job of palm rejection. We even went so far as to buy an iPad Pro, and while apps specifically designed for it do a reasonably good job of it, the apps that I WANT to use do NOT.

Potironette 04-30-2017 08:29 PM

I used to confuse the words "biography" and "bibliography." It wasn't until now that I realized that bio and biblio were very different o_o'

Potironette 05-05-2017 04:16 PM

I have a tendency to grab at flying things in the air. It just so happened that today, in physics class, some fluffy yellow thing was flying lazily by me, and I thought it was a feather.
So... I reached out and grabbed it.

Thinking I'd missed, I released my hand--only to find a small bug-creature with wings twitching on my physics folder (it was green with blue eyes and yellow wings...I think. The eyes might not have been blue).

Anyway, took out a tissue paper and smeared green bug-mush all over the tissue paper.
I felt oddly a little guilty killing a bug without meaning to.

Coda 05-05-2017 04:28 PM

I know that feeling. One time in college I saw a grasshopper jump in front of me on the sidewalk and I tried to avoid rolling over it, but while I was successful with the front wheel I heard it crunch beneath my back wheel. That was more upsetting than I expected it to have been.

Fulkth 05-06-2017 02:55 AM

Ugh, for some reason I am really picky about my pasta shapes.
For example, when I make spaghetti, I only like to use elbow macaroni or thin spaghetti. And I want to make macaroni and cheese, but only if it's with elbow macaroni or medium shells. For some reason, small shells sound really unappetizing...

I have to find out if there are other crazy people like me out there. O.O

Glitch 05-06-2017 10:27 AM

I miss eating pasta

Potironette 05-11-2017 05:25 AM

Because I always walk alone, I tend to jump on little raised areas, pull at tree leaves, and sing as I walk. Sometimes, I wonder if strangers might think I'm crazy. And then I wonder if my peers think I'm developmentally delayed x'D

SparX 05-12-2017 05:50 PM

Who thinks daydrinking is an ok thing when you drive airplanes for a living like man wtf D:

Potironette 05-12-2017 06:09 PM

o_o, that does not sound safe at all

SparX 05-12-2017 06:25 PM

I don't think so
I would assume they would have rules in place
(the only reason I say he's daydrinking is I overheard the attendant bitching to another person about why we were delayed. . . )
There's some old guy across from me sitting with his feet out of his shoes with no socks lounging with his feet up on his luggage eating chips 0.o

Potironette 05-12-2017 08:33 PM

drinking vs. job --> drinking T_T|||

I'm surprised the old guy isn't worried about propriety..
Where are you flying to?

SparX 05-13-2017 12:23 AM

To see glitchy =D
She's sleeping with the baby though so I'm hanging with her boyfriend and my husband XD

mdom 05-13-2017 01:16 AM

AWWWWWWWWWWWW
that's so cute. I almost hate you two.

Potironette 05-13-2017 08:32 AM

That's really cool (hearing about people on the internet meeting, I mean)!

SparX 05-13-2017 09:55 AM

I love meeting my internet friends =)
I try to either ship to me or visit an internet friend once a year every since I got a stable job XD

Glitch 05-13-2017 11:06 AM

Don't hate me ;0;

I'm a party pooper
