saying it got 'frucked over' for doing something illegal as hell is like saying a murderer got 'fucked over' for not putting the bodies in the recycling correctly

youtube was and is a shitshow and should be the one paying fines not the video-uploaders(though they should be kept on a tight leash too if they are peddling to children)

Stabbsworth 11-16-2019 09:56 PM

yeah, i get you.

also, yeah, youtube should be the ones paying the fines.

though, given that the government has no fucking idea as to what they're doing, i imagine this isn't going to turn out well.

littl3chocobo 11-16-2019 09:59 PM

doesn't help that a lot of people with money have an investment in letting this go on

Stabbsworth 11-16-2019 10:01 PM

mostly because it can generate more money.

not to compare this to video games but this reminds me way too much of the corpus.

littl3chocobo 11-16-2019 10:03 PM

totally to compare it to video game corporations this is just like activision

Reasons to not be involved with things on the internet...

Stabbsworth 11-16-2019 10:15 PM

gestures vaguely somewhere in the distance.

Kory 11-16-2019 10:25 PM

I get kinda annoyed when people say, "Well, Youtube videos causes people to do stupid things blah blah blah.."

I mean, I do get it...
But I don't see the difference between video games' influence on kids and youtube's influence on kids :(

Mekatra 11-16-2019 10:44 PM

Frankly, emulating things you see online that you have been told is dangerous is not a bright move... If you are old enough to know it is dangerous, shame on you. If you're not old enough to know it is dangerous, shame on your parents.

Kory 11-16-2019 10:54 PM

Yeah!
You said that much more eloquently than I ever could haha

That's what I was trying to say, though. c:

Mekatra 11-16-2019 11:11 PM

I think I just grouse about such things a lot, so I'm used to wording them. >.<

Kory 11-16-2019 11:50 PM

That makes sense!

For me, I used to be really articulate.
!!!!

Sorry for the spoiler, I'm just struggling to come to terms with "it",
There's nothing triggering in here, I just don't want this "public"

littl3chocobo 11-17-2019 01:55 AM

i have a family-member who has this issue because of a different issue. i hope you can trust that i would at least make my best attempt at understanding and asking if i need help ^^

Stabbsworth 11-17-2019 12:06 PM

if it makes you feel better, sometimes i have trouble coming up with the correct word and have to result to an alternative that effectively *means* the same thing but doesn't exactly convey what i'm trying to get.

i also have a pretty bad stutter, and it's gotten worse since i have a cold.

littl3chocobo 11-18-2019 02:32 AM

most of my friends and family dont even notice my stutter so i can pretend i dont have one x''D

Stabbsworth 11-18-2019 12:09 PM

> literally stuttered while trying to say bollocks
> will literally stutter when trying to say fuck
???????

i hate it so fucking much.
