i have felt that way before about things, sometimes it is ok to stop right before the end and always be just off of complete

Poggio 11-20-2012 11:58 AM

I did that with Sailor moon. I stopped watching the last few episodes because I did not like the way it ended. I also wish I did not read the last harry potter book. I was not satisfied with the ending.

Yokuutsu 11-20-2012 12:26 PM

I think Rowling should have left off the epilogue.

And with Sailor Moon, unless you watched the Japanese version, you never actually got the ending because Sailor Stars (Which doesn't follow the manga-females dressing up as men since only females can be Sailor Senshi.) never aired in America at least.

Poggio 11-20-2012 12:31 PM

I watched the Japanese version. So I watched it all the way up to the last three episode of stars where once again every one was dying for Sailor moon, this included momo chan. I think chibi chibi was about to save the day but I am not sure, too many deaths in a story makes me not want to watch it any more.

Yokuutsu 11-20-2012 12:39 PM

I think everything ends alright...because, remember, they all technically died in the first season against Queen Beryl or whatever (except Sailor Moon...course they were raised in their previous life to protect her...but so were the Sites (Zoisite and all of those) to Damien/Endymion..) So yeah.

Poggio 11-20-2012 12:45 PM

Yeah but it was something about the starlights dying for her that bothered me. Especially since that one was trying really hard and almost won her over. I felt kinda bad for him/her.

Yokuutsu 11-20-2012 12:48 PM

Well, I kinda stopped watching around...I guess after Pegasus? I'm not sure anymore because I think at that point...Toonami died (and this resurrected version is not the same-it's adult swim's anime block with its own special name)

I want to watch it all though.

Poggio 11-20-2012 12:55 PM

Dude I have no interest in the new version. Some one told me it was owned by disney. Which means all of the good stuff that I like, the blood the 'cousins' will not be in it.

Pathosis 11-20-2012 01:04 PM

I agree with Rowling leaving off the Epilogue.
I would have liked the last movie (and book) a lot more if they left it with a few loose ends so we could use our imaginations.
(/sigh)

Oh well, thank god for EWE (epilogue what epilogue) fanfictions.

Yokuutsu 11-20-2012 01:05 PM

I haven't heard about that so Idk

Pathosis 11-20-2012 01:08 PM

Lol. The epilogue for the movie was horrible.
They just threw Hermione's hair up, and gave Harry stubble to make them look ''older''.
And their kids really annoyed me...bad acting.
(/shrugs)

Yeah...it's just something fans made so they can change relationships and whatnot.
So it's not set in stone that Hermione is with Ron and Harry is with Ginny.

Poggio 11-20-2012 01:09 PM

XD haha I am just angry at the person that dated harry potter. I was kinda miffed that apparently all that stuff happened in the 90's. XD though it is my theory that. One Harry should have died, two he and Ginny totally had sex in the room of requirement and that produced a child.

It is also my belief that Neville should have killed Bellatrix since she is the one that hospitalized his parents.

Pathosis 11-20-2012 01:11 PM

I didn't like ANYONE that Harry dated.
They just didn't seem to suit him.
Harry and Ginny always came off as a very awkward couple to me.
There weren't any scenes that really screamed ''they're in love'' to me.
And technically Harry DID die. :p But he came back.

I personally like Snarry. >>;;;
So when I think of who Harry should be with, it's always gonna be Snape in my mind.

edit: I totally fucking agree with the Neville thing.
Screw Molly killing her, HER kids weren't tortured until they were mentally fucked up and essentially vegetables.

Poggio 11-20-2012 01:15 PM

No no I mean as in Dated the story. Apparently Harry's parents graves had dates on them and some fan went through and actually figured out real dates for the Harry potter series, so the epilogue actually happens in the 2000's.

Yeah if you asked me up until the movies came out I always thought Harry and Hermione were going to get together. Truthfully I had no idea where the RonxHermione thing came from. But as far as couples go, I am a classic Dracox Harry girl xD.

Pathosis 11-20-2012 01:22 PM

Oh, right. xD
I knew everything was in the 90's, so I figured the epilogue would be near the beginning of the 2000's.
It's also customary for marriage and settling down to happen at a younger age in the Wizarding World, so it's not that odd.

Naaaah, see, Hermione and Ron's relationship was a LOT more obvious than Harry and Ginny's.
They were always dancing around each other, and I was always screaming at them to just date.
><;;
Especially at the Yule Ball.

Lmfao. I think Drarry is too...pretty. And a bit cheesy, arch-enemies falling for each other. Bleh.
If you lay out all the things Snape and Harry have gone through together, and their history, and the fact that Snape protected Harry since the first day of school, it's got a lot more potential for romance.
With Drarry, it's just ''I hate you, oh no we misunderstood each other, let's fuck''.
>>;;
That's just my opinion though. Lol.

Poggio 11-20-2012 01:41 PM

I know but I have to say reading the first three books I really thought it would be more of a hxh thing. XD and I have to say its the same thing for Ron and Hermione. They fought so much just like Harry and Draco. The only thing that bothers me about Snarry is the age difference and that he is pretty much Harry's god father.
