I wasn't lucky enough to be taught to sew like my mom can something I kinda feel bad for. I'm only good at cross stitching. I didn't learn my sewing skills from anyone other than youtube and google. My mom tried to teach me the minimal stuff then she gets tired of my slowness so she takes over and then not only I feel bad that she wanted to take over but I don't learn anything from that

Nah I enjoy all kinds of things, I think it is lovely to have skills though just being really good at one thing in particular might make decisions easier!

But I am learning a new technique for two at a time (socks, mittens, sleeves etc) of double-knitting. I had heard about it a long time ago but I couldn't find any information about it... but... it seems really useful. |
