Yeah! I would have Moogle! ♥
I love a lot of them, though I have not played it in forever and cannot recall the looks.

Nefer 06-26-2011 11:45 PM

Lol, the dolls are just too cute ^^
And hmmm, google is your friend then xD

LoL, yep! I am Googling outfits myself.

Nefer 06-26-2011 11:49 PM

^^
The first thing I usually do when making a cosplay is find a LOT of reference from it, including back shots and the such, THEN I start looking for the fabrics, beads, wigs, contact lenses, and whatever else it may need ^^

How expensive do some of your outfits range?

Nefer 06-26-2011 11:52 PM

Oh gosh, hmmm, it goes from 30$ when it's very simple and no wig involve (though I count the shoes) to...300$ when it comes to a full body armor (that thing killed me O_O)

Lulu would probably be around 100$ I think with the wig, extensions, fabric and all... Unless you also buy contact lenses, then add perhaps 30-40$ since red ones are very common to find ^^

I would not enjoy poking my eyes though, so I would have to be Lulu with glasses, lol.

Nefer 06-26-2011 11:58 PM

Lol, well you just have to take your glasses off for pictures then ^_~

Yeah, and be so blind while the pictures get taken.

Nefer 06-27-2011 12:05 AM

Lol ya xD As long as you can keep your eyes open it's ok lol, and it looks far better without glasses on pictures too (and when not posing who cares if you wear glasses, it's better that than bumping on everyone and everything around you lol)

Yeah, it would suck to not be able to see or read any signs.

Nefer 06-27-2011 12:10 AM

Lol ya, I'm probably as blind as you without my contact lenses or glasses so I know how it is, you need them to walk lol. Though I did enter a masquerade without any contact lenses on because they were killing my eyes at the end of the day (some theatrical Sephiroth contact lenses that I shall never wear for more than 8 hours anymore), and I actually managed not to trip on the stage...I still don't know how I managed though, but at least I didn't see the people in the audience xDD

littl3chocobo 06-27-2011 12:11 AM

what about temporary contacts? or do you not wear them?

Nefer 06-27-2011 12:13 AM

Well, I believe it's not everyone that likes to poke their eyes when wearing them xD

Personally I wear the monthly ones, but my eyes were "à la Total Recall" back then so I decided to give them a rest lol.

@ Nefer - Yeah, being blind sucks.
Congrats on not tripping.

@ Chocobo - I am one who does not like to poke at my eyes.
