I wish I had a job. I would make it my life and spend as much time working and making as much money as I possibly can.

I would, but when I was doing that, my boyfriend and I fought a lot because we weren't seeing each other to just spend the day together. We would see each other once or twice a week depending on the week, but we were hanging out with friends gaming. No time for the 2 of us.
So, we finally made it clear we would make a day for each other.
Usually it's Saturday, but this Saturday I'll be spending it at a meeting for my youth group (it's the 85th bday celebration). So, we're spending the evening Thursday after he gets out of work at 4.

i have the same problem that yuy has, and it will only get worst when he gets a job, unless we live together, but that will take time, he has bills to pay that are WAY over due.

We'll be apart again soon because I'm going back to school in the Fall to start my Master's. But, the benefit to that one is when I finish in 2014, I'll most likely be moving into our apartment. We were talking about it and I figure he probably would have moved out of his parents' house by then. ^^"

that is good to hear. It will take us at least a year or two to get where i want to be. I asked him today what he sees for his furture and he told me he can't tell me right now because he is 'mining the craft" Stupid video games!

Ack. I hated when he was so deep into his games. I used to have to fight with him just to get any attention.
It's been almost 6 years, so, we're at that point now where we see the future together. It's just getting to the point where we do live together.

we started off living together and seeing each other every day, so now it's hard for me to be so far away from him. It'll be a year in aug.... I sound like i am rushing it doesn't it?

It all depends on maturity, age, and other factors in your relationship.
I know with us it took a bit because we were 19 when we met and we both weren't really mature or knew what we wanted. Now we're 24 going on 25, so, we're at the point in our lives where we do know what we want and have an idea where we'll be in a few years. Well... at least where we want to be.

well i am only 20 and he is going to be 23 in august. So i feel like a little kid compared to him. It sucks

Eh, that's not too big of an age difference. When you get to your 20s, it's not too bad.
Eh, most boys at 23 still have no clue what they want. Most of us girls by 20 we have a general idea.
Well... at least I did. When I was 20, I had stated if we make it 5 years, I'd hope to at least know if we're getting married. That and I wanted to be married by 30 and have a family getting started...
But, I'm flexible. I had to take time off of school and I'm 25 in oct, I know we're getting married, We'll be married by 30, but family will wait.

I wish i knew if he wanted to marry me. though it is way to soon to ask if he is even thinking about since he last relationship for four years and it didn't turn out well... I just wanted to know if he pictured the future with me or not. *sigh* i hate depression and my mind some times.

Eh, give him some time to get comfortable again. Being in a relationship that long does take a bit to get over if it didn't end well.

i know he is over the girl, it's more about him not being able to get into a relationship as quickly as i am. Just too trusting and most likely will get myself really damaged in the end
