@DK: Hee. You have no idea how many times I re-read that particular part. Especially how Riiko replied "Really? YAY!" <-- That "yay" part made me "WTF? She really belief that!?"
|
But sometimes it's just totally stupid. Usually I don't begin to whine until they start it. I used to get seriously written PM's and everything. Like...waste time on something better.
|
Its my job to keep the peace throughout betalings :3 Plus it is just polite to not bring up hot button issues in regular conversation. ^^ especially on the internet where everyone has an opinion, and they WILL state it. lol im just preventing drama before it happens. :3
|
I try my best not to offend anyone, ever.
Sometimes I accidentally do, though, because for some reason everyone reads whatever I write as mean/sarcastic/rude if I don't include an emoticon of some kind. |
I never strike first at least. >A> But if someone does strike at me I will defend myself no matter what. And I have gotten so much shit becuase of that. I always end up being the bad guy...
|
@Jonjon: That seems to always happen and the cause of flaming/arguments. Internet are cruel. Unless you use emoticons, people can take your words the wrong way. Ugh. ^^"
Edit: Ignore the "can". To me, it's almost "always". |
I find it best just never to strike. If I can remain unbiased and neutral in arguments, I can better keep the peace.
|
i know right XD my emoticons are my friends ^^ [as i use them in every sentance .... that and lol i say that far too much]
@hermies that is a good way to go about things ^^ [also neutral about most things] |
I have a very anti-confrontational personality. I'm actually a pacifist in real life, I try my best to avoid any violence or offensive behavior. It translates onto the Internet, of course, because that's just the way I am.
Plus, really, arguments on the internet? I have sooooo many better ways to spend my time than getting stressed out over something someone said on the internet. xD;; |
@Fic: Yep. But then when I start using emoticons too much, I start hating it. (._.) <--- So I switched to this instead. XD
Edit: @Jonjon: Yes. Arguments over the internet. Which seems like a waste of time, but it's fun to read. Seeing how they never get things done and ended up with a ban hammer all the time. |
Well I have been bullied all my school time so I am always ready with my fists for the least negative comment I get. <_<; Can't help it...hahaha Even then people where talking to someone else I'll sometimes think it was meant for me. Dx
|
@Sen: Stress, huh. I understand that feeling. But then because of bully, I minimize to a limit of when I use my fist rather than mouth. Most of the time, I snap back with smart mouthing. More fun to me that way. *evil*
|
Well, I mean, I grew up with violence in my peers, and constantly having to fight, physically and verbally. I know how to, and I'm darned good at it, but I prefer not to.
If you try to prove one side right and one wrong, that is a mindset of war. In peace, there must be a middle ground, a gray area. |
@Senyoru:
I was bullied in school, but apparently I developed the opposite way you did. I just learned to take it and ignore it, for the most part. I mean, I cried like, every night of middle school (and sometimes, if it was a really awful day, I actually cried during school but it was sort of cathartic and they got bored of making fun of the sobbing girl after a while so whatevs) but I knew that I punched like a girl and a fought like a girl so me trying to get into a fight was just going to get me into trouble with the teachers and the school, plus I'd get my ass kicked. Wasn't worth it in my case. |
Talking never worked for me so when I eventually told a kid I'd rip his head off he finally left me alone. =u=; ...Yeah...
|
I was never that intimidating to people...until I got into some serious brawls, and my friends turned me into a legend. THEN I was intimidating. XD
