Well, if he wants some really good ones, then the best place to get them isn't GameStop. I suggest going to WalMart, Target, or somewhere else that sells all sorts of electronic goods and getting a Logitech headset. The less expensive ones run at about $30 and are far higher quality than what you'll find in GameStop. My brother got his headset there, and it's fantastic. It's compatible with both the PC and PS3, it's adjustable, and it has its own volume control.

Is it surround sound?

Reyoki 06-24-2012 01:10 AM

Yep, you want a link to look at them?

whitexsuicide 06-24-2012 02:04 AM

yes please! thank yuu

Here ya go! That's the least expensive place I've found them. They're not wireless, but the cord has a decent length. Logitech does make wireless ones, though.

I couldn't get anyone to go to the movies with me when I worked at the theater and got to go for free! With a friend adn free popcorn. :(. I'm not a fan of going by myself though. I only ended up going twice. Once when I grabbed a friend of mine and essentially dragged him along to see Batman Begins, and the other time I went to see Charlie and the Chocolate Factory by myself because I wanted to see it before it left.

The main snag was that there were always three of us, and the third person would gripe about not being able to afford the *one* ticket we actually had to buy. Never mind that he had all the money in the world for beer. -.-

On Tarot: a friend of mine who can do Tarot and Oracle readings once said that you weren't supposed to buy your own tarot deck, that you were supposed to be given it. That true? I've never heard that before but it sounds plausible.

I was given a Gyspy tarot deck and book a while ago for my birthday but never actually learned it. It didnt' have the usual cards that I'm familar with, like the Moon, Fool, Tower, etc, but had other things, the only one I remember at the moment being a burning vardo.

Asami 06-24-2012 10:29 AM

Oh wow D: that sucks. I would totally go with you
I hate people that do that kind of thing u.u

Quiet Man Cometh 06-24-2012 10:33 AM

Well I could understand to a point, though I did get miffed that no one ever took me up on my offer. We did board games and things otherwise though, so it wasn't like we didn't hang out and I wasn't left stuck at home. It just meant I rarely went to any movies.

It was sort of a two against one thing too, as the other two were a couple.

Asami 06-24-2012 10:33 AM

I see
but still movies o: are fun

Quiet Man Cometh 06-24-2012 10:36 AM

The last movie I think I actually saw in theater was Watchmen. I'm not all that big on watchign movies any more, at least not in theater and not with the whole dark room, big screen thing by brother likes to do. I'm the kind of person that's always doing somethign while doing somethign else. My sister is like that too. She worked at a video store and got tons of free rentals, so we would watch movies while drawing, or doing needlework or some such. Her brother (my stepbrotoher) could never figure it out. He figured it was a girl thing. ;)

Asami 06-24-2012 10:37 AM

Ah I enjoy the thrill of a movie theater o:
it just makes it better

Quiet Man Cometh 06-24-2012 10:41 AM

Yeah. My brother has a tricked out theater system that works great but there is something special about a theater. Tickets are darn near $15 now though, and it's really pricey with snacks (we've developed ways of sneaking our own stuff in over the years) so insteaed of two of us going to the movies, we just buy the DvD instead. Or, my brother does. He has a kid so it's $50+ to go see a movie if he and his wife both take the kid to a movie.
